Should I test at 13 DPO?

Should I test at 13 DPO or wait another 4 days until the day that AF is due? I don't know if I can wait 4 days, but I don't want a BFN because I tested too early?

Is 13 DPO regarded as 'too early' to test?

I think usually 13 DPO is fine to test by? I could be wrong though.I'm sure someone more helpful will stop by soon ;)

13dpo is a good time frame to test. I would for sure!! And don't be too disappointed if you get a BFN as, I'm sure you've heard, it ain't over til the fat lady sings (or in this case, AF arrives). I tested early when PG with DD and got two days in a row of BFNs. Gave up but when AF was 2 days late, thought I'd try again and low and behold, BFP :)

I tested at 10 DPO and got a BFP!!!!

i tested at 6DPO and got the faintest of faintest BFP....considering implantation usually takes place 6-12 days after ovulation....i would say you would get a pretty definite result...GL !!!

I got a positive test at 10 DPO. very very faint tho.

I POAS today at 13 DPO and it was a BFN :(
If AF hasn't shown up by Monday (2 days late), I will re-test. I may be wrong about the day I O'd.
Since yesterday arvo, I have been experiencing a heightened sense of smell, mild nausea and food aversions. These are usually my first early preg symptoms.

Ash, I hope your BFP is just around the corner. I tested at 14 DPO with DD2 got a BFN (heartbroken) then when AF was still absent 5 days later I was a little hopeful and Yippee, BFP! So you are still in with a chance.

Hi Ginger, thanks for asking.

Sadly, AF showed up yesterday. I'm feeling OK about it though. We just threw caution to the wind this month, so I didn't have huge expectations. We are going to 'officially' ttc in July. I know why I had nausea and food aversions - my kids have a gastro bug.

I was just thinking about you and up pops your post.
Sorry to hear AF turned up and that you also have a gastro bug going through your house. Goodluck when you start 'officially' TTC. I hope it happens nice and quick for you.
