No more bleeding please!
I had a scare today, I thought I had lost Button. *MAJOR TMI WARNING*
Early hours of the morning I woke up and knew I was bleeding. I tried to ignore it for a bit, then got up and put a pad on. It was 4.25am. I was still bleeding, but I kept fairly calm and thought to myself ‘It’s ok, this has happened before, it’s just the placenta.
I went back to sleep for a little while then when I woke got up to go to the toilet and little clotty bits of blood were on the toilet paper. I started to get a little bit worried, but tried not to. I went back to bed then again got up (maybe about half an hour later) and there was still heaps of blood in the toilet. As I was wiping there were still little clots on the paper. Then I felt a clot slide out. As the toilet was full of paper, I got it out to inspect it. I had no clue what it was but it was a clot, completely intact and about the size of a 50c piece. Then I freaked. The clot was huge (to me) I was figuring the placenta must have come away from the wall or something. I started crying hysterically because I thought Button was gone for sure.
I rang the hospital, but I wasn’t guaranteed to get a scan, so I did what I did last time and went to the medical centre and got a referral for a scan and went straight in. I was lucky, I only waited about half and hour and I was called in. I started to cry again, I thought this would confirm it. The chick placed the thing on my belly (what’s it called?) and there was bub, kicking away!!!!!!!! My baby is ok. Everything was perfect. HB of 154 and measuring ahead of dates!! She couldn’t see where the bleed had come from, but everything looked good. ABSOLUTE RELIEF!!! I was so scared, once I passed the clot I thought that was it. I am so relieved and I don’t want anymore scares like that! I am only bleeding old blood now, I haven't had much since the clot passed thank goodness.. 12wks today, only another 28wks to go!! I hope my heart can handle the pressure Lol! I can't wait til this baby is safe in my arms!

 I had the same thing at 10weeks. Scariest moment thinking bub was gone
 Button stays strong

I had a bleed at 10wks too, it was apparently caused from my low lying placenta. There was a fair bit of blood, but no clots like this time. I was soooo scared! (I was last time too)

Oh gosh.. how scary!!! So glad bub is ok!!

I thought you'd had an earlier bleed  I passed a big clot (about 50c piece if not bigger) and it freaked me out, especially given the blood was bright red.
Rest up and *try* not to stress about it
-
 you poor thing. As if you havent got enough to deal with being pregnant again after a loss.
Take it easy and rest as much as you can. Sending loads of healthy and stress free vibes.

Oh gosh, how scary for you hun!!! I had a bleed in my first pg at exactly 11 weeks and I was just beside myself with worry. It was a big gush of bright red blood and it was the first time it happened. Had the scan within an hour and it showed that bub was good. They couldn't tell me exactly where the bleeding came from though....
Big hugs hun and to your bleeding, stop it already!!!!! Stop stressing and scarring mum!!! Rest up hun :D
-
Please take it easy, honey. How terrifying!!

Hugs xx, I had a lot of bleeding with dd1 - everytime I bent or lifted something heavy and whenever af was due. It was terrifying but she is about to turn 4. I also had bleeding with dd2 but not as bad.
I hope the next 28 weeks are easier for you.

Naughty bubby trying to scare mummy! In all seriousness I hope there are no more bleeds from here on in.
-
Oh BLB! How scary! I hope you are feeling better now that you have seen bubba. I doubt it is any consolation, but some women just bleed like that the whole way thru their pregnancies. It is a state of normal for some mums. It explains why some women never know they r pregnant cos they never stopped getting their periods.
Mind you the ones who do no doubt spend a fair bit of time really worried as I know you are and I can only think I would be doing the same. big hugs babe. I hope that is the last one for this pregnancy. Take care of yourself. Xx bella.

OMG BAL!! That would have scared the hell out of you! Glad to hear both you and Button are OK. Do they or will they have any idea what caused it?
-
That would have been so scary for you  Please don't scare Mummy like that again little button!
-
lord how scary! glad everything is ok!

I am so glad everything is ok too. Thanks so much for your replies. It's good to read them and think that you don't all think I'm mad. I'm sure at the U/S place they think I just like coming in on a Saturday without an appointment. I really hope it doesn't happen again. I have felt good today. Tired now though.

Certainly not mad...that would have been very scary :(
I am so pleased button is fine and you got to see his/her precious heartbeat.
