I have had my baby at 32 weeks +1, she couldn't wait!!!

Hi all,
Well my little girl was due on 9th August 2011 but my waters broke and contractions started on 10th June 2011. I was lucky that with meds the doctors kept full labour at bay for another few days until the steroids could work ans little Hannah Elizabeth Sliwka was born at 6.22pm on 16th June 2011. She is in the NICU at TCH at the moment and doing very well. Hopefully she will be home in another 4 weeks or so. I can't wait as it all seems so surreal as i don't have my baby at home and can only see her in the hospital.

What's her weight? If you can find a toy the same size as her, it's a great way of showing her how big she was when she was born! We have a little monkey that we show Charlie & our friends who didn't see him in NICU to demonstrate how tiny he once was. Now he's a strapping big boy of nearly three, it's hard to imagine :lol:

My ds1 was born at 33+3 weeks after my waters broke 5 days prior, he is now a happy, healthy and BIG 5 year old!!

Thank you everyone for all your kind comments.

Hannah is doing very well and only has the nasal oxygen tube on low flow now, as well as the gastric tube. She is a strong little girl. She has been drinking from a bottle this past week as i am sick and can't see her to breastfeed. Her daddy is feeding her!!!

I forgot to mention this before, she was 1.655 kilos when she was born and 40 cms long, Head circumference 28cm.

As of today, she is now 2 kilos and 25 grams. She has put on over 200 grams in the week that i haven't been able to see her.

I can't wait to see her again. The nicucam is just not the same.
