Never! I just ate some panetone (italian cake) for breakfast
Kids: Yes, it's inappropriate.
Me: No.
Pregnant me: Hell no!!!
:crying: I want cake for breaky!!
I must be one inappropriate lady then! Sounds delish!
Mmmmm I want cake now flowerless orange nomnomnom
no way! sounds yummy!
No. Nor is it inappropriate to have sticky toffee pudding for breakfast, no matter what my DH thinks.
Not for a birthday ;) I've fed the kids cake before breakfast (and for) on their birthday's etc!
Sent from my iPhone, more than likely while I should be doing something else!
Not inappropriate if accompanied by coffee, then it's a balanced meal.
Thanks for enabling me everyone. You're tops.
Considering it has the ingredients mixed together that you'd probably have for breakfast anyway - not inappropriate in the slightest!
No.
That is all.
Hel no!!!!!
Orange = fruit. Totally acceptable to have fruit for breakfast!
I just ate a hot jam donut for breakfast!
*joins the crew*
Lol yummo !
DH and I have had pavlova for breakfast before...it was sooo good ! :D
Did not feel guilty in the slightest ;)
It has fruit in it, right? Yum, flourless orange...pav....
Best start to the day I ever had was Chocolate Bavarian cake straight out of the tin. With a spoon - it was breakfast after all.
It is far from inappropriate. Of course the ingredients differ from recipe to recipe but generally you've at least got eggs and milk in a cake. Both very important breakfast foods. And you've got 2 food groups covered right there. The orange makes it 3 food groups. It's a totally balanced meal ;)
chocolate bavarian cake- that is dairy, a very important food group.
What about the nearly 2 cups of sugar?
depends on the cake probably.
chocolate rules apply, of course. (Any time, anywhere)
Sugar is a carb, breads and cereals are carbs, you have bread and cereal for breakfast so sugar totally a breakfast food (ok, I might be stretching it a bit there  )
Unless you ate the whole cake, you didnt eat a whole 2 cups of sugar. Breakfast cereals are full of sugar. It's probably the same amount, so totally fine.
Did you eat the whole cake?
Only if your kids catch you!
Nothing like waking up to a moist hummingbird cake that's singing out to be consumed before the kids can realise there's any left over!
no way especially if its chocolate mud cake  thats wat i had
Never an inappropriate time for cake!! Enjoy!
I deny eating the whole cake!
Had pizza for dinner to round off the health kick.
Good to see you're eating a balanced diet!
Pizza for dinner here too :)
I remember as a kid on New Years Day once Mum let us have custard, icecream and cake for breakfast - I still remember how awesome it was!!
Pancakes are a perfectly acceptable breakfast food, note that the word CAKE is part of panCAKE, so basically, Cake already IS a breakfast food
Problem Solved!
My mums Nanna always used to make us Christmas stockings (silver cardboard, orange bag netting, the works!) and in it would be a diary, a pair of knickers (or jocks for boys), a pen and a small bag of coloured popcorn.
Tradition was always to eat the popcorn for breakfast at 5am on Christmas day - got us nice and sugar buzzing before we woke our parents to open gifts...could never sit still at church though! :/
No, no, no. You can't eat cake for breakfast. At breakfast time it is called a muffin, and therefore is perfectly acceptable ;)
