Argh! :(
About 40 or so minutes ago, I started having quite a lot of back pain. This turned into back pain with uterus pain, and then the pains started to come in waves and were quite strong. I started to feel very nauseous and then went to the toilet and had (TMI!) very liquid diarrhoea. I now feel shaky and exhausted, the pains are still there but much less intense, and I feel like vomiting, so I suspect I might be sick from something I've eaten as opposed to anything baby wise. I've texted my midwife and let her know, and now I'm bent over my fitball sipping water. Keeping an eye on things, those pains felt so much like the yucky scared part of my labour with DD :( But like I said, I'm shaky and exhausted now, as well as nauseous, so I suspect it may have been something I've eaten. Literally no point to this post other than documenting that this happened and that I now feel like crap :(

Hugs lovey. Hope your middy gets back to you pronto and you start feeling better soon x
-
:-( bugger. It could be gastro?? I hope you feel better soon
-
You had me worried there on FB for a bit hun! Sorry to hear you are feeling sick! Hopefully it's just something bad you ate and it passes soon! Hang in there a while longer bubba!!

Middie just called, basically we're keeping an eye on it because I'm still getting wave like pains, although not as intense, but she said the diarrhoea can be a symptom of going into labour. So I'm resting and listening to what my body is doing, and if it gets worse again I'll be heading into hospital for some monitoring etc. My back is killing me!
ETA I bloody hope it's not gastro, because I just had it a few weeks ago.
I'm good enough to be posting on BB, that's my pain threshold indicator. Before when this was happening, there was no way known I could concentrate on typing a post on an iPhone.
-
Hang in there a few more weeks Amey! Hope it's just a passing thing PZ. Feel better quickly.
-
Keep an eye on things hun, I would get diarrhoea when going into labour too xx.
Regards,
Dianne
-
I hope it is gastro PZ, better that than labour. Rest up and I hope the pain stops soon xx
-
 hope it's just a tummy bug and you're ok in the morning
-
Oh that sounds awful and scary. Hoping too that it's something you ate and it all passes very soon. STAY PUT AMELIE!
-
:(
Could it be from the cake mix you ate?
Oops I meant frosting!?
-
Hope it settles for you and is nor start of prem labour xoxo
-
Hope you feel better soon xx
-
Nah it was only an hour or two after the frosting, and DH and DD are fine.
I had pains all through dinner, but nothing to write home about. Then (TMI!!) I pooped myself :( It just came out, full on liquid  That has NEVER happened to me in my adult life. I was mortified. So I think it's fair to say I'm sick. I don't feel unwell, aside from the cramps and back pain, I feel fine. Can't wait to get some sleep and hopefully be better come the morning.
-
*hugs*
I was going to say the same thing as Em, and ask if it couuld possibly have been from the bowl of frosting you ate.
hope it settles for yo
-
To clarify, I didn't eat a whole bowl  I wish! Probs only 3-4 tbs, which is still a fair amount of frosting lol. Definitely could be my body rejecting my gluttony though. Might be time to give rich foods a rest just in case. Has been awful.
-
lol.
FWIW I've pooed myself too, it really is horrible.
have a rest, drink lots and take care or yourself.
-
Hope things settle down for you sweets xx Doesnt sound like fun...at all.
Keep hydrated...
-
So this morning I feel fine. No tightenings, back pain is gone. Will see if it comes back when I actually get up. Didn't get much rest, but that was due to DD practically sleeping on my face all night
-
Glad you're feeling better so far!
-
-
It's just DDs way of making sure that you don't move = enforced bedrest bahahahaha
Hopefully it will settle down today xx I had a nice enough experience at the womens when i went in with TPL, but yeah, it was an eye opener on how much more secure I feel at home with people that know you and your baby and body ITMS. Let's keep ya baking :)
-
Oh no...hope your feeling better soon!
I had exactly the same thing happen to me just before i went into labour ...even the pooping myself, like you said there was no warning it just happened :(
Hope this isnt the start of an early labour for you....take care and keep an eye on things.
Thinking of you xx
-
Argh I might be heading into the hospital today after all. It just happened again in the shower, no warning :( Poor but beautiful DH helped hose me down :shakehead: only a few cramps when it actually happened, nothing now. I feel a bit nauseous but I think that's from laughing and crying so hard just before. Midwife and doula know so I'm just playing it by ear and takin it easy. I have lunch reservations today, might need to cancel.
-
Haven't felt Amey move all morning :( She's likely just trolling me, and as soon as I worry too much she'll give me a big thump. Doing the old cold sweet drink and lie down trick, that should get her going, yeah?
-
You might not be noticing her against all the other cramps & things Hun. If your worried though I would pop into ED and just get checked out. No harm right?
-
How are you going now hun? Did it ease up? xoxo

Got her moving finally, had to get up and dance and then lie down lol. Feeling a bit crampy but I think it's more from being sick, maybe it is gastro again. I don't feel unwell in any other way, so who knows. Much better than yesterday though!
-
Yikes hun :( Hope things settle down for you soon. FWIW I have had diarrhea as an indicator for labour with both kids but it does sound more like gastro / food posioning.
Banana, Rice, Apple, Toast are supposed to be the best for an upset tummy. Hope it's better soon x
-
Hope you feel better soon huni xx

Like poop. Have gastro again. I had it like a month ago too. I've never been 'over' a pregnancy until this point. I'm really starting to hate it and feel totally broken down by it, I just want to meet my baby and not be in pain or sick again.
-
Massive one of these babe
Being sick and pregnant is a whole new world of awful :(
Try as hard as you can to rest up and keep fluids...we don't want any early arrivals xx
-
How did you go with the gastro? I've been getting this all the time whilst I've been pregnant. 3 times I've been hospitalised and put on the drip as they've said I'm dehydrated, but the 3 times I've gone into prem labour also.. Did this ease up for you or anyone else reading this OR are you still getting it??
-
Argh! :(
It did ease up, but I now also get a lot of pre-labour that can definitely be described as rougher than normal BH's. today for example, DD headbutted my belly quite hard, which set off a whole lot of mini contractions. Called my midwife and I've been monitoring them and happily they're gone now. So yeah. I didn't realise when I first got gastro how dangerous it can be for pregnancy.

Argh! :(
Fine :) Woke up very sore where DD got me, I'm pretty sure there's a strained muscle in there somewhere, but my tubigrip is helping a lot.
-
I :heartbeat: my tubigrip! Relieved to hear that you called and that the BHs abated: give us at least another couple of weeks baby girl!!
