Warm and Fuzzie Co Sleeping moments...what are yours?

I have co slept with both my girls.

I cried myself to sleep while 7 months pregnant and had to get Miss H, who was nearly 4 at the time, to start sleeping in her own bed in her own room! all because I couldn't get comfortable with my big fat belly! hehe

Anywhoooo

I now co sleep with Miss Z ... and I LOVE every minute of it.

Those moments when you wake up and their lil head has managed to lay right beside yours on your pillow...

The moments when you feel them snuggled into your back keeping you nice and toastie...

The mornings when you are woken up by giggles and peek a boo...

The moments when they roll over and punch you in the face....

The kicks in the ribs...

Oh and last nights special moment...Miss Z rolled until her butt was in my face and promptly started farting...:sick:

Yes...moments like these make me feel truly blessed to be able to co sleep with my babies!

What are you favourite parts of co sleeping?

Moving DS back to his own bed to have him cry sleepily "nooo, I sleep in mummy daddys bed".

His gorgeous smile when he comes in in the morning with his cushion, blanket & teddy and puts ted to bed in our bed but wants me to get up.

Waking up to find DS has snuck his way in between DH & I, & having DD on my other side all snuggled in.

DD waking me up by nuzzling at my boob that I left exposed because I fell asleep feeding her.

At bedtime, I put DD in her cot but sometimes she makes it clear she wants to go in our bed. She'll cry when I head into her room and say "no" and go to my side of our bed and put her little arms up with such a hopeful expression. I feel so horrible when I say no (DH has to go to bed early otherwise I would consider it). She comes in about 12 - 2 ish.

DS likes to nuzzle too, as I tend to fall asleep with my bewb out, lol.

Waking up with him gently touching my hair.

His teeny head on my shoulder with his arm stretched across my chest.

The way he roots and grunts around until I pull him close and snuggle him and he drops off immediately.

Miss Milly has just last week started wanting to sleep on my chest again :D It's not always a happy snuggly thing (such as if I want to sleep facedown or its too hot), but I love that she wants to be so close to me :)

Ultimate memorable moment... opening my eyes to see my first born kneeling by my head, about to kiss me on the lips.... *melt*

Dd co slept until just recently. When he wakes up in the morning she comes straight into my bed, backs herself into me and says "nuggle me!" and we snuggle until its time to get up. DP was so jealous he deliberately sent me out of the room before she woke up on the weekend so he could get the special "nuggles".

you girls are making me wish it was nini time already!

I love cosleeping with my daughters so much one time dd1 decided she wanted to sleep in her own bedroom. I missed her so much that night i went to her bedroom and coslept with her lol

And sometimes when dd2 is happliy sleeping in her cot which is sidecar to my bed, i pick her up and cuddle her to sleep.

Love sniffing them

When baby uses boobie as a pillow.
Waking up to find tiny DS holding DHs finger. (DH is 6'3")

Sleeping sandwiched between both my children and knowing they are safe.

The cuddles from dd every morning when she whispers I love you.

The sleepy snuggles from ds as he says 'mamma?' and finds the boob.

Knowing these moments are not going to last and cherishing every second.

not so much a warm an fuzzy but a memorable one.

Vic waking me up by going nose to nose with me and going BEEEEEEEEEP BEEEEEEEEEEEEEP to wake me up. or the time when he just had his hair cut and pulled and twiddled mine thinking it was his then smacked me in the head when he realised he couldnt feel it lol.

When DS wakes up and sticks his face in my or DP's face and says "HEL-RO!" and gives us a big kiss..... Awww! They are so few and far between those moments lol, usually he gets off the bed and yells at us to get up with him LOL!

And when I am laying in bed feeding him to sleep, sometimes like tonight he will pull off, look me right in the eye with a gorgeous milk-drunk smile and gives me a kiss and then a cuddle. Then lays back down and starts feeding again and goes to sleep. Takes me breath away every time, he is just so bloody adorable!

When DS is only half asleep and has says the most random things that we've talked about ages ago.

Also, his cuddles and smiles when he is falling to sleep.

This!! I love this so much.

I also love the way I can wake up in the morning and the first thing I see frequently when I open my eyes is Miss A lying there watching me, and the minute she sees me awake I get the biggest gummy grin while she throws her little arms towards me shrieking with glee.

I love it with DD2 when she snuggles into me, strokes my arm and says I love you Mummy and you're the bestest mummy in the whole world. Then she throws her little arm around me and tries to cuddle me - pretty funny given she probably weighs in her entirety as much as my left thigh!

These all sound so warm and fuzzy!

I love feeding Mack in bed, I admit I have never got up to feed him. I love just holding him in my arms, all night. When he is in between the Man and I, those two will have talks and giggles in the very early morning (apparently while I am "snoring my head off").

I love waking up to ds snuggles up to my back, especially when it is cold, when the Man is away. I wish I could remember more.

I have co-slept with all of mine. A few months ago I had had a rough night with DD2. She finally went back to sleep at 6am so I got up and crept out. Thought I heard a noise a bit later and went looking for DS so he didn't wake her. He wasn't in his bed, or his room, or out with me...I couldn't find him....until I went to check on DD2 and found him, asleep, snuggled up behind her...

such beautiful moments!!

I've woken up with a big bum in my face. I've woken up by recieving a swift round house kick to the nose. But I've also woken up to see her staring at me with pure excitement and anticipation and then her giggles when I'm awake. and her little hand reaching to touch my face (which is cuter cause she is in a sleeping suit so can't reach out).

When my 2 yr old (then 18 months) was learning to say "love you". Woke up,took his dummy out of his mouth and said "lub lub lub"

The first time he giggled in his sleep,and knowing he is having sweet dreams.

Now he is so good in his big boy bed but still climbs in every morning for cuddles.

DD1 wrapping her arms around my neck and demanding I "dwish" (squish) her back.

When she was learning the names for parts of the face, we used to fall asleep as she was touching and naming my nose, eyes, mouth etc.

DS has started waking me by blowing raspberries on my boobs or tummy.. So CUTE!! :heartbeat:

I rolled over this morning and DD2 (21 months) said: No Mummy! You not going anywhere! Dis our special bed!

:) Gave me a smile. She's right, cosleeping is special.

Those moments where your baby wakes in the night and all it takes is a boob for a pillow.

DS has always made the cutest little grunting sound since forever. I liken it to a baby pig snoring. I used to know all was well when he was making that little noise. When he was crying in the night (which was often because he still woke frequently for 7 months solid) I would rock and pat him until the crying turned to little grunts. That sound always brings me such relief, even now!

Now he's a big boy, and I have to be up early every day for work, he sleeps in a toddler bed. But I listen to the monitor for his snorng/grunting sounds, and remember the good old days of sleep deprivation and 24hr snuggles.

I'll be co-sleeping with Muffin, too.
