It's not yet, but it will be by the end of the day. Our lounge room is too small and I want the space back!!

Nope, traditionally ours comes down on the 30/31st.
Will come down today. It usually stays up until the 31st December but we move in 7 days to QLD & I need to get organised.
I'll be taking it down later today.
Never take it down before Jan, usually the first weekend in Jan.
Ours usually comes down in the first few days of January.
January 6th every year - The Epiphany, or the last day of the 12 Days of Christmas. It was day the Magi visited the baby Jesus.

Yep. Down as in horizontal on the floor after I finally let Mr 16 months worth of mischief have his way with it today. Oh the glee and destruction!!!

I want ours away today as DH will be away for a while for work and I can't lift that full box of a huge fibre optic Christmas tree out of the room lol
Otherwise it will be up until Feb, and I need the space.

I normally take ours down around New Years but I'm so over it dominating my lounge! I'm in post Christmas clean up mode and I think the tree may have just found itself on my hit list :lol:
After new years generally, providing there's no longer any presents under it.
12 days of Christmas here too.
Mine comes down when I can be bothered - the other year, when preg with DD, it wasn't taken down til I was in hospital having DD......so the end of Jan.....
Usually new years day but I was to lazy to put it up this year!
Tomorrow all my Christmas decorations come down. I usually do it Boxing day, tired and have been out visiting. Have tidied up everything else. Just the tree to do.

Lol MadB. I was thinking of leaving it up til next Christmas, it was such a PITA to assemble this year...
Mine will be gone by the end of the week. I love Christmas and normally drag my feet taking everything down. But my Dad has been here for two weeks and left today. Every time I look at the tree I'm reminded of everything he has done during his stay for me and how much I miss him. Especially as it was the first Christmas we have had together in about 15 years.
My PILs are overseas ATM so we are intending to have them over for a late xmas lunch probably 12/13 of Jan.. It will come down ASAP after that. Usually we would take it down any time between now & new years eve.
Usually I'd be saying yes. I generally bring it down on the 27th. I have heard people say it is bad luck to bring it down before 12 days after Christmas, and after the year we've had I am going to wait LOL.
I bring it down early because it is generally up really early. Santa comes to Adelaide early November so by the time Christmas rolls around I am sick of looking at it. But this year it went up late (for us), so it will come down when we get back from holidays. We get back on the 6th
Usually wait til Jan the 6th, but this year I've started talking decorations down since the kitteh has probably ingested about 2 tonnes of tinsel already and I'm loathe to pay for her to have her intestines unblocked. But usually it's up on the 1st Dec and down on the 6th Jan.
I'm taking ours down tomorrow, before we go away. We're back just before DD2's bday party, so I want it gone so I can get ready for that.
It is now, vacuumed as well to pick up the hairy tinsel.
We have friends who did leave their tree up 6mths after Christmas...we then did Christmas in July at their place :D
We usually leave it till Jan/Feb but this year i took it down yesterday as i just wanted our lounge room back & somewhere other than my bedroom to put all the toys!

after saying ours would stay up until the 6th at least this time, it is now down. Had just me and my youngest home today, so it gave us something to do LOL.

I panicked and took mine down this morning as I had cramps yesterday and freaked that i was going into labour. All gone today of course!
Normally I would take mine down NYday, but I know if I have the baby this week Dh won't take it down and I had a bit of nesting ging on today.
