A Christmas Miracle

First we had a dream come true and we recently found out we are expecting a Christmas Miracle! We were actively TTC but I was not temping so have no idea when I ovulated and with my long cycles - my due date is likely to be some time in August 2013!

On Saturday 22 December 2012 I did a test and it was :bfp: I was stunned - I just wanted to do a test see the BFN and wait for AF... I did not really expect to see 2 lines! We waited to tell family until Christmas Day and gave them a card with a message inside "Its time to spread some Christmas cheer but I won't be here till mid next year" - watching people's faces as they realised was priceless! Made even better by following that news up with news of our engagement (DP proposed on Christmas Day!)

I am pregnant! Off to GP tomorrow for a dating scan as I would like to have a better idea of EDD!

Our EDD is 29/08/13 and I will be very happy to get to even the 1/08/13!! DD is very excited about her new brother or sister - at first she was convinced there were two babies - a boy and a girl! But we had a dating scan and found there is one baby so she says it is a girl... we shall see if her prediction is correct!!
