So after selling all of DD's baby stuff, we have decided to add to the crew.
whats new in prams?
i had a Phil and Teds but this time ill want something where baby can face us.
i like the bugaboo's but will i need a double with a 3yo and newbie?
ive got a while (not UTD yet) but i like to research!

I dont think you will *need* (want is a different matter hahaha) a double (as in, my DD1 was not interested at 3)...but i would recommend if you get a bug to get the wheeled board by bugaboo to go with it. DD1 who is now 5 still loves to ride on that when she is tired/lazy lol.
just my two cents and i have to note here that i am a huge bugaboo tragic...love them.
DD was 2 when had DS we didn't get a double but the found one in hard rubbish when DS was 6 weeks old and it has been useful and still is (almost 4)for getting them to childcare and to train station plus a couple of local parks that are too far to walk. It doesn't go in our car so don't use it anywhere go in car (and that hasn't been a problem), and never needed it in shops. So whether you need one depends on child really and how much they like walking and how many places you go to on foot where need to be on hurry (eg train station and childcare for us). We had a board for our Vouge but DD always preferred to walk but saying that the boards on the Bugs work better I think. I would wait and see how your DD is closer to having baby and then make decision.
There are HEAPS of funky new prams out. There were a couple of threads about the different tandem/double options only a few weeks ago actually. Just thought I'd add that if you still have your p & t you can always use a capsule for the first few months (with the adapter) that's what ill be doing this time. I just couldn't justify spending so much on a new pram when it wasn't 'needed', but if you can get away with it more power to ya lol. Btw there's really no way of telling at what age your older kids wont wanna go in the pram, if mine had their way they would ALL be pushed instead of walk practically all the time they just have to get over it or at least tag team who gets to sit for a while :)
I love my bug(aboo). It's awesome. I wish I had it with DD1. If I'd planned on having another baby in the next few years I would have bought the donkey but this will be my last bub. It's an awesome pram. I love it came with the bassinet and didn't have to buy it separately. The only thing I don't like is the rain cover doesn't go on it in the seat version if you have the hood on.
Stokke with a wheeled board. Best thing ever.

Agree with this 100%. I adore my Stokke and we're looking for a skateboard attachment for it for DD1 now. Amazing pram.:

I've got the bugaboo donkey and I absolutely love it!!! So easy to manoeuvre, looks great and is very handy with the shopping basket!
i just recently bought an icandy peach, you might want to check it out. can be forward & rear facing with pram seat attached (not just when carrycot/bassinet is attached) which was important for me. big basket underneath which is easily accessible with carry cot or pram seat on. a girlfriend of mine has a bugaboo and when then carry cot/bassinet is on finds it a bit difficult to get the basket underneath (dont kill me bugaboo fans... ;)). also handles really well, great tyres & extremely easy to fold. one of the more compact ones i saw when shopping for one. having said all that - i am yet to have my baby & use it properly! although my sister has one too & loves it.
Sahbear, do you have any tips?! I've tried and tried and am afraid of damaging the rain cover!!! I have the gen3 if that makes a difference?
I put the rain cover on with the hood bit folded up, and then once it's on, put my hand through the hole and pull open the hood.:
And, always hook the black plastic bits on the bottom first!

Does anyone have the skate attachment? Worth it? Dd walks ost of the time but occasionally refuses..
Just get pregnant first lol they'll probably have a new fancy pram out then ;)
