So, who are my fellow baby buddies?! DS2 was born on Boxing Day, 2.82kg. He's perfect in every way and I am stoked I got my VBAC! Sore and achy still, but definitely manageable. DS2 is feeding well (every couple of hours) and the CHN was pleased with him yesterday - 10g off his birthweight at 5 days old!

Congrats JLeigh! A lot of us are on Facebook if you want to jump over let us know.. I had baby Z.eke 17 Dec :)

what are the odds that there'd be equal numbers of boys and girls born in the group? 6 of each! amazing!

we had a real treat last night, elijah slept from 8 until 5, had a feed and slept until 8 this morning..... But he has been impossible to settle all day lol!!!! lucky he's so cute!

V21 - that's an awesome effort from your little one.

I forgot about being poo and wee action with a newborn! Have had both projectile wee and poo here, not to mention numerous poo-splosions and several wees in the bath towel. Am using cloth from today and so far so good. DH is complaining because they're prefolds and he's having trouble with the snappi and cover, lol!

Hoping for a few hours between feeds here tonight :)

jleigh we are in cloth here too. I have osfm that already fit. Also some bamboo fitted with covers. my dh is getting used to them lol

how are you all going? we are going really well. Elijah has done a week of going to bed at 9.30/10pm, and not waking til 5.30am, here's hoping it continues. He's such a chilled little thing, almost makes me want another lol! 6 week check next week, where did the time go?!?!?! I weighed him at my parents a couple of days ago, he was 5.1kg, so 900g in 5 weeks gain! he's definitely a boofa lol!

V21 - you're doing an awesome job! Great weight gain! And great sleeping too!

Kbudgie - OSFM are like tents here - even the itti bittis are itti bitti enough, lol!

Red gum - have PM'd you - no, the add didn't work.

AFM - Bub has oral thrush, the poor thing. Doesn't seem to worry him, but the Nilstat isn't on his list of fave things. I've got Canesten cream for me, though I have no symptoms. I'm using sposies and disposable breast pads too, just so I don't spread it (I have a friend who couldn't get rid of it in her and her boy for about 5 weeks and was in agony so am taking no risks).
He's started feeding from both sides and therefore having longer between feeds, better sleeps and seems more settled too. And he's been a lot more alert the last day or two - looking around and taking the world in.

AFM - bub is mr chillax, have had some feeding issues which we are still working through, one feed / one day at a time. I am just enjoying every moment as this is our last bub.

Ladies trying to join the FB group - check your emails thoroughly. Both of you come up as "This person has already been invited" so there's not much else I can do with just email. If it's still not working we'll have to friend-request each other and go from there.

Ok, still can't find anything on FB...I've never actually used my FB email account. I have my own personal email that FB sends notifications to...could that be the one you need? I've also changed my privacy settings to see if that helps. Will check on the computer next time I'm on as maybe it's an iPad thing... Obviously I am a FB ninny! DH is even worse than me...:redface:

I was due December 21, but baby girl A finally born 9 January after prostin gels, a nice fast hospital water birth. We're home and doing well. I'm sticking my nose in the December babies thread, since that's where all the names I recognise from my belly buddies are! I am not on FB at the moment though.

Teni, I think last time you had change the settings to the page to add us all on, once u added us you changed it back to a secure page... Maybe try that to allow V & JLeigh on

Teni, I did get an email to add me in, but then my email account had a spazo and deleted all of my messages, and I couldn't get them back! Ah well, I'll message you my name and might have to go the freind request way :)

JLeigh - Elijah has oral thrush as well. I have no symptoms. So we are just using nilstat for him. It is his least favourite thing! How much are you giving your bub and how often? I went and saw the chemist and he said 1ml twice a day for bub, but I know with adults we use 1ml 4 times a day?

V21 - prob ably too late, but chemist said 4 x 1mL for Bub and I needed cream as well, even with no symptoms.
