Baking a Christmas cookie of the special kind ;-)

Well... After waiting a grand 5 years longing for a baby (four of which I spent on BellyBelly lurking and posting to keep me sane), my lovely DP/DF/DH (he upgraded over the years) was FINALLY ready to start TTC in December... and guess what...

after a grand total of 2 weeks TTC :rofl: we were quite shocked to find out on the 20th December (12DPO) that I got my BFP! :o Wooohoooo!!! :confetti: :leap: :hooray:

Hehe, sorry! Got a bit excited. So yeah, we are a bit shocked that after waiting and anticipating all that time, we conceived so quickly and are now baking a special kinda xmas cookie this year. I'm still a bit in disbelief and scared all at once. Due date is 1st September, so I'm 4 weeks, 4 days pregnant (well, 2 weeks, 4 days since conception). So still very early days. I just can't contain my excitement! Wheeeeeee! :leap:


Lil' Squishy-Bug, I've been waiting so long for you. I'm so glad you are with me know! :crying:

Damn pregnancy hormones. My boobs hurt

Thanks everyone! Still can't quite believe it. I also found out xmas day that my SIL is pregnant, too! We're only 3.5 weeks apart! I'm so happy for her. They've been trying for a few years now, so that's really awesome! yay!

Congratulations. I am very happy and excited for you. A long wait for a quick result. Now you have a little 8or so month wait ahead :)
