We're stuffed - it's a boy
We are stuffed.
We have no boy names.
Girl names - I have plenty (even if my hubby didn't love them).
Boy names - none.
We have a daughter named Alaska Payton
Our surname starts with McK so all Mc starting names are a no.
So.. we are after a modern and cool, but not common name. Not a place name (don't want a theme happening). The name Maddox is a good example of where we are headed... this name is alright.. not totally loving it, but I think it is a good example of modern and cool but not too common.
Suggestions pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease..

Oh I replied on your other thread.. But for some reason I thought you wanted 'A' names only. Don't know why I did... But anyway....
I still think Archie Chase Mc sounds good :)

I actually heard of a baby called Tanami the other day. It's not too misplaced here (where the Tanami is) but it's certainly different anywhere else - yes i know you said no place names...just putting it out there ;)
Re: We're stuffed - it's a boy
My boys are Aricyn (like harrison but without the h - its a Scandinavian name) and Felix.
Felix was going to be Azarias or Macarian though but dh said we had to go with Felix.

Re: We're stuffed - it's a boy
Is River Chase TOO unique given we already have Alaska Payton? I suppose one child's name shouldn't affect another's.
Can u guys imagine River as a grown up name?
Would u take a dr, lawyer, dentist, teacher serious if that was their name?
I quite like it but worry

Caelan is an awesome name!
Re: We're stuffed - it's a boy
I think River is an awesome name. I would take someone seriously with that name- though most serious careers you refer to someone as Mr McK anyway. He's growing up in a generation of more off beat names and River is hardly the quirkiest one around so it's totally fine.
Re: We're stuffed - it's a boy
I love River! It's a beautiful name
Re: We're stuffed - it's a boy
I know a few Rivers of varying ages. I think it's a strong male name.

Re: We're stuffed - it's a boy
I wouldn't worry about river being strange for an adult, there's a lot of unique names out there now, he will not be out of the norm.
I get stuck with boys names too, we have pretty much used all the boys names on our lists as first and second names.

Ok. Last post about this...
We are now leaning towards Jordan Chase as the name.
Given we have a daughter named Alaska, do you think people will make the connection that Jordan is also a place or do you just see Jordan as a name?
Re: We're stuffed - it's a boy
I see it first as a name. I rarely think of the place. I like it personally.
Re: We're stuffed - it's a boy
If you pondered it, sure, Jordan is a place... but I just think of it as a name too. I wouldn't think of the Alaska and Jordan place name thing.
