I feel like a newbie...
Sooo,
A few issues...
One I have vomited that much my jaw is now playing up, it hurts to chew - like I needed another reason not to eat... But that's me just whinging...
What I want to discuss - a little TMI.... But I am having some crazy pressure down below... It's like I need to pee, but there is nothing to pee. Immense when I am standing up, I need to sit down and cross my legs to help relieve it...
It's kinda gone now... I don't remember feeling this at 9 weeks any other time.

Re: I feel like a newbie...
Hmm I had that but have retroverted uterus and something about it having to tip the other way around 10-11 weeks as baby gets bigger? Once I hit 12 weeks it went away. It was so bad I literally couldn't pee unless I swayed around on the toilet for 10 minutes before any would come out
Could it be that?

Re: I feel like a newbie...
Hey chick :)
Have you had a dating scan as yet? I wonder if you have a singleton in there or not...
-
Re: I feel like a newbie...
Dating scan only abdominal at 6 weeks showed one bubba.
I have a retro uterus so maybe...
I vomited up everything I ate this morning, my jaw hurts more
-
Re: I feel like a newbie...
Oh dear. There are special physios that help with jaw pain- TMJ physios I think they are called.
-
Re: I feel like a newbie...
I'm now 22 weeks, yay! So more questions for you smart ladies....
What do you do for extreme tiredness?
What's the definite no no things you cannot do around the house yard?
-
Re: I feel like a newbie...
Damn it...i know the answer for the first question...but no magic answer for the tiredness...just sleep, which doesn't help when lufe doesn't stop
-
Re: I feel like a newbie...
I have a nap most days. And still exhausted.
Here's another question.... Contractions after sex - normal right?
-
Re: I feel like a newbie...
Yep I used to get Braxton Hicks contains after orgasm. Kinda kills the after glow though :D
-
Re: I feel like a newbie...
Yep, normal. Just keep an eye on them that all they are are BH. If you think it maybe triggering prem labour I would avoid sex....( sucky I know, a friend of mine can't have sex after about 24 weeks, they just stop until she reaches 37weeks when labour is ok. And then she has all her babies at 37-38ish weeks (4 bubs) some people just have a touchy uterus ;) )

Re: I feel like a newbie...
My belly is really sore... Even just leaning my hand on my stomach hurts... Amd getting back cramps... Yay, not.
Bubby is still moving...

Re: I feel like a newbie...

Re: I feel like a newbie...

Re: I feel like a newbie...
Kinda more like a sick feeling and period pain.
But not too severe
-
Re: I feel like a newbie...
How many weeks are you now? Do you think they are BH?
-
Re: I feel like a newbie...
23w.
Kinda. I don't really no what it feels like. Sick and bla.
-
Re: I feel like a newbie...
Does it make a difference if you are up doing stuff vs laying down and resting?
-
Re: I feel like a newbie...
Been worse last few days because i have been up doing all the Christmas stuff.
Last night i was up a lot it felt terrible. Today I've been lying down resting most of the day because i feel so bla
-
Re: I feel like a newbie...
Could just be all the action and excitement over the last few days
-
Re: I feel like a newbie...
Yeah that's what I'm hoping. Feeling sick and bla. Hope it goes away soon.
-
Re: I feel like a newbie...
Still feeling terrible...
Back period like pain is still around, feeling sick. I rested all day yesterday.
Bla. And for good timing my holidays finish today, I'm back at work tomorrow
-
Re: I feel like a newbie...
I was in conversation with my midwife today.
Pretty sure it's ligament stretching pain... But I'm to go to hospital to get checked out if it gets worse... ;( I hate hospitals I have a fear of going to them as a patient... Even tho I work in them how stupid is that.

Re: I feel like a newbie...
Soooo
Varicose Veins down stairs! What the?!?!
They get really big and full by the end of the day.
I feel like there is a bowling ball of pressure down there. ..
Can barely walk - only 14more weeks before mat leave starts!!!
-
Re: I feel like a newbie...
Never had them but apparently they aren't pleasant.
Best wishes and thinking of you xoxox
-
Re: I feel like a newbie...
24 weeks is not the time for all of this...
Contractions
Varicose veins
Extreme pressure downstairs
Barely walk
:-( just having a feeling sorry for my self moment
-
Re: I feel like a newbie...
Oh dear Cat. I wonder if witch hazel would help the veins? And ice?
-
Re: I feel like a newbie...
No idea what witch hazel is...
Apparently rest and lying down helps - Ha... Yeah that happens when I sleep.
-
Re: I feel like a newbie...
You can find witch hazel in the face wash section of supermarket. Its good for hemaroids. So might work for veins
-
Re: I feel like a newbie...
Holy crap!!! I didn't realise how swollen my vagina was until I used witch hazel!
-
Re: I feel like a newbie...
Did it sting or did it help?
-
Re: I feel like a newbie...
-
Re: I feel like a newbie...
I actually had to look for my vagina! Lol it wasn't visible like normal
-
Re: I feel like a newbie...
I'm glad it helped. Is it your labia majora or minora?
-
Re: I feel like a newbie...
It didn't help with the pain tho. Even tho it was a lot less swollen down there, today was horrid. I'm having trouble walking without pain. The contractions and RLP.
I know I'm complaining so much, I so sorry, I'm very thankful to be pregnant and it's an absolute blessing, etc. But I'm getti got my over it point

I feel like a newbie...
How long until you can go on maternity leave? Can u start your mat leave early?
I wonder if acupuncture would help.
-
Re: I feel like a newbie...
I go on maternity leave in 13w and 2 days.
I found another huge varicose vein down below.
-
Re: I feel like a newbie...
Oh dear. Is there a clause in your contract for special maternity leave? I'd hope there would be some provision given your job to title.
-
Re: I feel like a newbie...
Im waiting for my midwife to send me my "official date letter" so that i cam put in my mat leave and then once thats set if i need to go earlier for medical reasons i can access my super and be on leave.
I got called in today (as i also work oncall) amd had to go in, by the time i finished 1.5 hours later i was so sore.
It hurts down below to walk.
