Last chance re: recipe book!!!

As you will all know I have been working on the recipe book for some time - and since then there have been some outstanding recipes posted by our members :) So if you know of a recipe which you think needs to be added, can you please email me asap at info@bellybelly.com.au as I have started loading the recipes into the book format and hope to have these for sale within a couple of weeks.

Also any feedback as to which sections you most want to see, in order of preference:

Pregnancy Recipes
Baby / Toddler Recipes
Low Carb Recipes
Low GI Recipes
Gluten Free Recipes
Slow Cooker Recipes
Entrees
Mains

So if you could all please let me know asap so I can make sure it's as relevant as possible for you all :) If you could also please vote in the poll so I can see if you would be interested in buying one and at what price, as it's a huge book, and if people want to only spend a certain amount I will need to make the book smaller. It will be printed and bound by a printer and postage cost will be between $6-$9. So the price will determine the size of the book.

Oh also would be interested in knowing who would be interested in an eBook which would be cheaper, a file of all the recipes in book format which they can print off themselves.

I'd be interested in the Ebook option, because although I will buy the recipe book no matter what, I may not be able to buy it straight away if its over $20, as I have a lot of expensive uni texts I need to buy in the next month.

I'd prefer a printed book otherwise I will never print it myself.

I don't mind what recipes are in there - I love my food porn (ie recipe books). I have so many recipes in electronic version that I've not bothered to print out, as I've not had the time (I've got nearly 5,000 sitting in my yahoo account alone).

I voted $40 include postage for a big book. if you have a look at some of the big cookbooks in the shops $40 is very reasonable. I was looking at cookbooks just a few days ago and the Magerat Fulton one was $60 and the donna Hay was $45. That's not inculding postage.
I think the idea of an e-book option for those on a budget is great but I wouldn't get one because I wouldn't bother to print it out and I'm on a plan so i wouldn't want to exceed my download limit.

Although having stated my preference of order, that would be for the printed version (which I'd prolly buy). The e-book might be available as a series of PDF's so you could really order it yourself ... just have an "index" at the front of each section to make an overall index maybe?

I think being BellyBelly having pregnancy & baby/toddler recipes are a great idea... are there any special "conception" type recipes out there?? Maybe including one would be good... maybe just an oyster recipe or something including heaps of aphrodisiacs...

Oooooh I am not sure you guys understood me, sorry!!! I mean the order of preference of what recipes are most important to you - i.e. if I have to cut out or cut back on recipes, I will know what is least popular, and what is most popular, so I can include more of it. Does that make sense?! For example if you like low GI recipes, you would put that up the top, but if you dont like slow cooker recipes you put that down the bottom :)

I would love a book Kelly.... I need some good recipes. Maybe include some extra blank pages at the end so that we can add recipes to the book...ie print out off belly belly and add to the back. I find my biggest hassle is finding my select favourites in numerous publications but if I can stick and paste them in the back and have them in the one place that would be sooooo useful. I have no preference for what is included

For those members who have suffered a recent loss or dealing with LTTTC&AC it might be a bit confronting to open the book and have those recipies right at the front. I often flip through my recipie books when I need a bit of inspiration so i see alot more of the front pages than the later pages.
Maybe that's just me......

I would like an ebook - as i got a beautiful recipe book & cards from my SIL as a wedding present (of course, i haven't got around to printing any of them), and this way i could have it done ready for me :)

But i might be tempted to buy the bound book also, either for me or a present.

Looks good, the ebook option is good too. I think I would probably buy one but not much over $30

Great idea and would go with either format and have no preference for order. Anything to give me more food/dinner ideas is a winner with me and I think this recipe book would feel very special and be well-used.

I think it would be good to have recipies from a broad range of categories..
I'm also one who either neglects to print out e-books, or loses them when do print them out.
