Kelly I don't have one - yet! But just wanted to say thanks for such an awesome thread!

Ooohhhh Janet, I was just thinking, "do we have any from Australia?" and I saw yours and you brought tears to my eyes, you and your little baby girl are just beautiful, I love your smile and your wee baby's eyes just gazing up at you. Beautiful.

Where did you get your beaut birth pool from?

Any more from Australia?

So beautiful. Unfortunately we never thought to take photos of Esme's homebirth, and i only have 3 from right after she was born...maybe next time. Lol.

Cool! I used to have one similar but it got a hole in it ....

We built one of ours out of timber and another was was a fruit crate lined with plastic. Ahhhhh, bliss.

Julie, both mine "Home Waterbirth"(Trish) and "Waterbirth"(schmicker's wife) are Australian births. And both homebirths.

BTW I have already seen the story you posted. I think I found it when researching waterbirths when preg with Tehya. Still I sat and looked at them all again. Very sweet.

Schmickers Wifes birth is actully Victoria, the midwife that was present at Tehya's birth. Have a look at that one too. It's very sweet :D

What a shame :( I think we should all bombard them with messages of disgust that birth can't be shown on there... surely people aren't complaining about birth being on there?

I urge you all to write and complain about this, it happens all the time! Otherwise we'll just have to start our own birth video website!!!

I just put in a strongly worded complaint against the removal of birth montages. Doubt it'll help but if we all do it.... ;)

I sent it to the midwife list that I am on, one has a reply from them, I dont have one yet... they denied it and asked for example URLS... but anyway, I am going to chase this one up and give them that URL!!!

Next baby I'm going to be able to do a HWBAC birth montage lol ... it will be nice to have something from both ends of the spectrum!

I'm just sad coz I don't think I've got enough photos to do a montage for Seth... soooo slack. I didn't even get a photo with my birth attendant :(

I'm sad too Rouge for the same reason! I have 2 pics of her 1st BF, and one of Daddy holding her, still naked and birthy, but that's it! :(

Next time i'm getting it ALL on video!

Our anaesthetist took all the photos during the c/s - we have about 100 all up, of every thing. He did such an amazing job, and must have perfected the art of c/s photos, because he knew all the right angles, took piccies of the clock and scales etc. It was great because it meant that Gareth and I could concentrate on Jambin being born, not have to worry about taking any photos.

Just added a twin vaginal birth, one bub breech :)

Aaawwwww my little man came in such a hurry that there was no time to even think about a camera let alone have photos of his actual birth. :(

Thanks to Sammi, at least I have lots of him from about 30 mins old though! :)

Yeah she did a great job! She's coming to my next client birth too, who wants lots of photos... I have warned her though it's another 3rd birth hahahah!!! Have had three in a row now :o

Watch it and let me know what you think. I have NEVER seen a woman give birth like that before. If only it was that enjoyable for us all.

Although i am wondering why the midwife discontinued her care when she was over-due? that seems weird to me.

Cherie - Thats was so beautiful, i cried like a baby watching it. You certainly did grow a whopper...over 10lbs :o

I just told dp that next time i want a homebirth after 3 c-sections and he nearly passed out, not at the homebirth, but the fact i want another baby LOL
