What is going on!! AF??

Hi girls,

I'm due for AF today or tomorrow (if it's 28day cycle) which it kinda is since coming off pill.... i'm new to the symptoms of AF as whilst on the pill i never really got this (symptoms) as the pill must have blocked alot of it...KWIM?

I have the sorest, biggest boobs yesterday and today!!! They feel swollen and my nipples are itchy and very, very sensitive!!! I'm moody and snappy and grumpy and the smallest things are making me feel like crying today... what's wrong with me? I NEVER get bad PMS symptoms like this... last 2 cycles i wasn't this bad.

Is it just one of those AF things? :doh: I'm not going to think i am pregnant because last time I did that i convinced myself i was and i wasn't!!! It was a whole waste of time for nothing! hehe

Hmm...not sure. I didn't get much symptoms when on the pill and AF hasn't had a visit since I stopped taking it so I'm no help.
But if it's different to normal...maybe...should I cross my fingers for you?

sarajane, what cycle day are you up to now? I hope you get AF soon!! you poor thing its awful waiting and not knowing..... i kept thinking i was pregnant so kept taking HPT's when I was waiting for my cycle off the pill LOL

I don't know what to think about my symptoms.... you can cross your fingers for me if you like... if i am, it's probably a real miracle! Seeing as we've been pretty careful but couple of times we've been naughty KWIM....???? hehe I mean if I am pregnant i'll be stoked!! woohoo!!! but at the same time, we are happy to wait until Sept to conceive....

I conceived in the 3rd cycle... but each cycle before that was the same as wen i was on the pill....only when i fell pg did it change to what ur discribing. All bodies react differently tho...good luck :)

Kimbaz, were your boobs really sore and large and heavy when you walked? Thats how i feel! itchy too!! LOL... I have never had this before. We aren't TTC. AND DF said to me this morning when I was getting dressed... "geez you have big boobs!" so i think he even noticed they are bigger!!!!! LOL

Extremely sore, hurt to touch, bras would hurt them..and looked huge!! At the time i fell with Chels... we had stoped TTC... and it happened!

lol, things are looking promising judging by this conversation. Or not?? No drinking at ur wedding if u r! A small price to pay tho I spose.
I'm up to day 26 but no signs of ovulation at all this cycle, unless I missed it somehow, but I've been keeping an eye out!

Possible SaraJane... but our bodies always react different to how one would think. So what i had did lead to a BFP.... but could just be a change in Renstar.... either way a god outcome. I had a few drinks at my wedding.. was 19 weeks at the time!! Goodluck TTC too BTW !

Very true. And also when you are thinking about babies and TTC you are like super alert to any symptoms.
I hope AF sorts her self out soon and lets you know what is going on!

Thanks Kimbaz... yes mine are killing!!! ouch!!! i just want to rip off my bra and lie down in a dark room under the doona! my boobs feel restricted! (i'm at work so i cant rip off my bra haha)
I wonder if i am pregnant... hehe be great if i was.... if i'm not, happy aswell....

I'll tell you how I go, AF should rock up in the next 24hrs i am expecting her to show!!!

Good luck SaraJane, 26 days is still pretty short, i had 48 day cycle!!! (after BCP) so fingers crossed you arent waiting as long as i did! some ppl wait more! but i think you should get it back within the next 10 days i reckon... fingers crossed eh!

Renstar - Just before i found out i was PG i had THE SOREST BBS EVER!!! I couldn't touch them at all, and even if something brushed against them accidentally, i would be in agony! My DP was just excited i had massive bbs, but i wouldn't let him near me because of the pain! Hehe :D

I've had irregular cycles for about a year because of birth control messing them up, so it was kind of a miracle that i fell PG! I feel very lucky to finally be PG too!

I really hope you are, but otherwise i'm sure your little miracle is just around the corner! Good luck!

I don't think I am pregnant but boy, oh boy, imagine what i will be like when I am pregnant!!!!! my boobs are sore but not as painful as you said yours were i dont think! just irritating me and heavy!

Hehe, i'm moody at the best of times, now that i'm PG i cry at anything, usually its tv shows or ads that do it!

My bbs were also heavy - so much so that i had to buy a sports bra just to sleep in because of the heaviness and weight, i felt like there was an extra kilo of weight in each bb! Nipples were the worst though...

I just bursted into tears!!!!!!!!!!! Over nothing!!!!!!! Now i'm eating some chocolate, that always makes me feel better (even for a bit)... I'm cold too, at work we are in a warehouse so it's freezing, no temp control in there!!! That doesn't help. I'm at home now so it's nice and warm aahhh....

I think i'll do a HPT test tomorrow..... these are cruel symptoms if I am not pregnant !!!! at least if I am pregnant, it's worth the symptoms! If it's just AF arriving, then gggrrr to her for confusing me! hehe

Why does everyone else get good boob action? Nothing ever happens to my boobs.. except leakage... I keep hoping i'll wake up one morning and they will be massive!

I've always had big boobs :rolleyes: they are over-rated I tell ya!!!! LOL They slow you down!!!! & send mixed messages hehe I mean, they aren't too big for my frame or anything, i am in proportion but they are just big! size C/D and I would love to be a B/C! You can find nicer bras when they are smaller I reckon ;)

I am a C/D Renee... by artifical means.. but i'm telling ya, they just aren't big enough! But my boobs never get sore, don't get big or anything else exciting - they are just very vainy (kinda resembles a road map) and have skanky stuff leak out of em.. bloody buggers they are!

HAVE you already got a stick to pee on for tomorrow morning? I'll be looking out for any news...

WIth DD i done a test at 7am... with this bub it was 2.30am cos DH kept nagging me til i caved in and done the test!!

They say first wee in the morning is best... but i think any time is ok....maybe when u get up at 3am... go to the loo then have a drink.. and when u wake up later on do it.. unless ur really keen for a 3am test!!!!


My boobs are a D.. and it sucks!! I swear they are bigger then that now but just dont wanna find that out!!

I did my test at 3pm in the afternoon! But that was 3 weeks 4 days past ovulation....

Renstar, coming off the Pill really frustrates! Hope you are pg, but if not feel pleased you aren't having 5-8w cycles as I did.

About the breasts - finding feeding bras in a b-cup isn't easy, I'd rather be bigger so I could get loads of pretty ones! Internet shopping beckons to me again...

oh Ryn! 5-8 wk cycles would be soo frustrating.. yes i feel so lucky to have gone back to 28-30 day cycles that's for sure.. put it this way, if I am pregnant, I will be sooo happy! And if we aren't? Then i won't be disappointed so either way, it's a great outcome!

Well... i just had a shower and no sign of AF yet, not even cramping!! I am not sure what to make of this but.... TMI WARNING.....

I checked out myself (so to speak) and I had like EWCM? Why would I have that if I am due for AF? If I am in early pregnancy, can I get that? I thought that only happens when you are ovulating that's all.... can it be a symptom of early pregnancy? I didnt think so...

Ummm... What's EWCM?? It could be that your just having a long cycle as your body is getting used to coming off the pill and perhaps your just O'ing now?

Hmmm.. EWCM - i get it's some sort of cervical mucus?

I used to get like that too, CM days before AF and then the day before AF got no CM and it was drier than normal down there, but if you're ovulating late it could be that OR you're PG and then the CM doesn't stop!!!!! :D

I wish our body's weren't so cryptic sometimes!

I think they might be itchy because of the skin stretching? That's why my tummy and boobs itch, because of the skin expanding.

If it is late O'ing, then at least you know you are ovulating and that's a good sign! You should start writing everything down so you can chart your cycles and then once Septmeber roles around you'll know exactly when the best times to DTD are!

I was up at 630 cos DH wanted me to take him to the train station.... then he decided he'd take the car instead... i should have gone back to bed cos DD slept til 10am!!!! And slept all night so i never had to get up even!! 14 hours of sleep for her!

TOMORROW morning I will - I promise :rolleyes: I don't think I am pregnant.. however my boobies are still sore and feel large but I am wearing a different bra too so that is helping me.
No sign of nasty AF just yet.....no cramping either....?? Normally get it day before or day due for AF... hhhmmm
