Think I'm over it...
Well I think I have gotten to the stage where I am over it! LOL I didnt think I could get here... maybe I am just feeling with 'blah' at the moment and just feeling like a whale.
I tried to go to sleep earlier and just had this general uncomfortable feeling and then bub decided it was a good time to get the hiccups. I felt a bit hungry so got up and then I got tummy cramps and found myself on the loo. Not sure if its something to do with labour or its from the juice I made myself today. Now my tummy feels all upside-down and I feel like I need to vomit. And to top that off, I am actually over feeling my bub move! Just feels like she is going to break out now and am kinda over it...
I am also over the pain I get when I roll over in bed. Its like a three-point turn these days!! Got be careful or something is going to cramp up. Cant wait to have my body back.
C'mon bub!! Come on out, mummy thinks she is ready to meet you....

It won't be long Veronica.
Hang in there... it's all worth it.
Although I know it's a real big pain in the butt. So hugs to ya !!!
I'm not looking forward to my final weeks either!!
-
I don't think you want to hear this, but I am jealous. I never had the oppertunity to be huge and in pain and feeling like a whale.
Hope after a "good" night's sleep (or some ice cream) you feel better! Not long now
-
Well I am not actually huge myself! I really thought I would be a lot bigger. I just feel the most uncomfortable late at night for some reason, during the day everything is fine.
Oh an ice cream sounds perfect! Might have one and try and go back to sleep.
-
I hope you can find a way to get back to sleep, usually utter fatigue is a good sleep motivator.
I already have issues with turning over in bed, some how I lift my hips and butt to turn but nothing wants to follow me id stay put in one spot if my legs would just stop going dead.
hope your egg hatches soon.... :)
-
The end is near.. but its so hard!!! I felt the same when i was PG with DD... time couldnt come fast enugh..i was huge, couldnt move, walk.. nothing. Sleep wasnt something id seen or heard of. I just looked at it this way....its all worth it in the end!!
-
Hang in there Veronica, not long now! ;) I can relate to feeling uncomfortable and restless at night and wanting your body back. I am over it too but still a few weeks yet.....
-
I hear ya Veronica,
I am right there with ya, but got a toddler & a child to also entertain when awake !!!!
It's so exhauisting, but the end is near!!!
-
Hey V!
You poor thing, we don't have much longer to go now at least!!
Take care and I will speak to you soon *hugs*
-
Hang in there Veronica, it will all be worth it soon!!
-
Not long babe, Sending you labour vibes, by the time it will take them to get from here to here you'll be ready to push, lol.

Veronica, it's hard not to want your pregnancy over (esp when it's your first).
And because this is your first, my only advise is... relax... take things easy :) It's so hard to find time for yourself with your next pregnancies (that is if you choose to have any more ;) ) so make the most of it this time

V, just wanted to let you know I know how you feel and also LOL re: the turning ovedr in bed 3-point-turn comment, I think thats the perfect way to descibe it!! Lately it hurts my pelvis so much to roll that the turn goes alongside several horrible grunting sounds and often a helping hand from Phil!!
-
Hey everyone. Thanks for your comments and yes!! The end is near.. I eventually fell asleep but then was waking up every 2 hrs to go to the loo!!
I am really enjoying being pg and I am absolutely comfortable right now. Its just late at night that it gets to hard. Its like bub puts on an extra few kg to make things so hard!
-
I hate going to bed too, it's like I'm too busy during the day to think, but when it's night & I sloth into bed, my pelvis & groin kills (feels bruised). I grunt in oain as I toss & turn all night, I pee constantly & have been vomiting too from heartburn/indigestion!
But Thankfully I know it will be over soon & much much more worth it than you'd ever imagine!!!!
-
V and Tracey,
I'm so sorry your both over it! It shouldn't be too much longer though. Well i should hope not anyway because I can't wait.
I can't wait to be at the "over it" stage. I know i'll be over it, but it will mean i'm so much closer to meeting bubs.
Anyway, I hope things start happening soon for you both.
-
Been nipple tweaking & squatting & pumping & EPOing etc & still nothing, well nothing exciting!!! hee hee
Part of me hates saying I am over it, as it's likely our last & so that's sad, but I am ready to meet Zy!!!!
It's a catch 22, I reckon!!!
-
Veronica, I was just checking out your pg pic's. You look bloody fabulous. I hope when I get pg that I look as good as you do.
Best of luck with what's left of the pg.
-
hey ! I know how it is! I'm not over it, but in the same breath I can't wait to meet my baby! I like the whole 3 point turn description. It's definately what it is. My hips feel like they're about to break, they're very fragile and I feel like a nana. lol I have to shuffle my way to the loo at night! I find the only comfy position in bed is right when you wake up and discover you need to go to the loo.
All the best for the coming weeks!
-
Sounds to me like things are getting pretty close!! I felt very much like that in the last week before Oskar was born.
-
Hang in there, we are all in the same boat, I've been calling the rolling over in bed 3 point turns too. and last night when I didn't get to sleep till after midnight and then woke at 4.30, and couldn't get back to sleep again, I'm right there with you.
Yet I was feeling bubs move thinking, I'm going to feel empty soon. Although I'm sure I won't have time to focus on that!
-
Yep V, definately think things are getting close for you. I bet in a few days, you'll feel great again, you'll feel like you can run a marathon (well you know what I mean). Then BAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Beautiful little Avaleigh will be here.:p Can't wait.:D
-
 I feel for ya! I''m feeling like that & I'm a few weeks behind you - I'll be SO over it by the time I'm 38 weeks (if I get there ;))
Tracey - OT - but congrats on being a FT SAHM - I hadn't seent that before!
-
Hi :)
You sound exaclty where I'm at... I just want to be past the birth and have this baby in my arms, not jabbing my insides out (I mean that it the nicest way possible ;) ) I've been thinking about what it will be like to have nothing moving around in me, as much I want her out, I wonder how that will feel again, I guess I'll be too busy to care maybe.
I just don't sleep very well at all and I'm constantly doing the 3 point turn, but if it wakes me up then I have to go to the toilet and on and on the night goes!
I feel sick all the time now, but I guess I only have to get to 38 weeks, lucky me! That's about the only good thing about an elective ceaser....
Just think you could have this baby any time now, and lucky for us all we're not pregnant forever, even though it feels like it
Good Luck!!
