Huggies Nappies
Just a silly question...as Alessia is growing, we know the next size nappy is not too far away. Currently we have her in Huggies Newborns and purchased them in the big value boxes. The next size up, Infant, we know is next but I can't find them in the same value boxes! Does anyone know if they're sold in this fashion?
-
fran there only sold in the bags not boxes
-
Yep - I've only found them in bags. Annoying, isn't it?
-
You can get the infant size in a jumbo box, but you have to hunt for them online. We have a local store who does delivery and they sell them, but I'm in Brissy so that doesn't really help. Just want you to know they do exsist, but not in the supermarket.
Another option is, if you can hold out changing sizes till she is 6kg, or just buy the smaller bags for a few weeks, crawlers start at 6kg.
-
Or you can get this Infant size in plain brown boxes at Toys R Us.........(Lexie was in that size for ages........)
-
I buy the Infant nappies in a 100 box from Babies Galore.
-
Thanks everyone! So silly isn't it that they ignore this size range? I'll have a look into everything you've all suggested. Thank you!!
-
sily question here, but so you have to change to infant when they are at the 5kg mark?
and how long does a 108 value box last you? i have been told to stock up now and dont know how many of each i should buy
thanks soory for hijacking
-
Fran, they ignore the big ones too (Junior)....they only come in bags too.....drives me mental! At one stage I was griving half way across town to Toys R Us as I had Lexie in Infants and Charlie in Junior......
-
Lisa, Alessia is just on 4 weeks old and we've nearly finished 2 boxes of the Newborns (108 nappies in 1 box). Alessia was 4kg at birth and she's a long baby, so the nappies are almost like hipsters on her! I guess once the nappies look like they're not fitting properly, it's time to upgrade!
Lucy...ugh, Huggies deserve an email! Actually, I WILL email them! Ha! *lol*
ETA email sent!

thanks!!

-
Yes LIsa, her profile name is Danni :)
-
Yep Danni went to Sunshine, I'll get her to have a chat with you when she gets here (she's coming up tonight to visit me in Brissy ;))
-

Fran, nappyland has large boxes of nappys your after. Google nappyland. They good prices.

Hi
Here is the website with the entire huggies nappies range. Entire Nappy Product Range for Boys and Girls - from Huggies Australia - Huggies
Looks like they don't make infant in boxes But newborn is up to 5kgs and crawler is from 6kgs. So maybe you can skip the infant nappies.
-
lol I didn't even realise there was an in between size. I have bought the aldi 4-9kg for in between. I've heard good things about them and I've tried out the aldi newborns (they seem more generous in size than huggies). the 4-9kg are 15.99 for 56 nappies, so they are a pretty good price too.
Lisa for a newborn boy we average about 10 a day for newborn size, especially 'cause the little scallywag sometimes dirties them before we get them on him :wall:
-
Does any one know the website (or another website that sells them too)that Ashlee was talking about? I'm in brisbane, and this could be really helpful!
Thanks!
-
It's nappyland ... I think you can figure out the address hehe

Hi all,
Our little one is three weeks old tomorrow. In hospital we used the Huggies (easy to fit!), but have since used Baby Love.
This morning I decided I had persisted long enough with Baby Love and I'm going to grab some Huggies Newborns to continue on with. The Baby Love nappies just take too long to get the right fit on our little guy.
So - still being new to nappies - what's a good price on a box of newborn huggies - I think they are 108 in quantity? And where's the best place to buy - or just lookout for the specials?
Cheers.
-
Baby Fox - I don't know where you are located but the last couple of times I have been to Toys R Us they have had them on special for $30.95 so I have grabbed some boxes myself.
-
Babyfox, occasionally Coles have the Huggies 108 packs for $29.95. Last week Target was also selling them for this price.
-
Thanks all,
Picked up a box from Target y'day for under $30 - nice price.
Cheers.
