Bigger Maternity bra HELP!

Can someone please recommend a maternity bra that comes in an E cup (and possibly bigger) that actually has support.:pray:
I am so sick of maternity bras that don't stop the girls from wanting to go south. I swear if the baby was not in the way they would want to rest on my knees.
I soooooo want my D cup underwire's back :cry:
I am going shopping tomorrow to try on a truck load of different bras because I have out grown the ones I bought in the first trimenster, but thought I should tap into the resourseful ladied on belly belly first.

For me personally, I found the Lovable range to be awful. I went from a D to an E while pg and initially bought the Lovable range, but while I was b/f, they were awful. Most of the other brands I found good though.

As a member of the mamoth moomba mammories club I've found a wonderful website full of larger ladies, sexy maternity bras at reasonable prices (I've bought one myself, have yet to try it though), most of the bras have reviews and some even go up to size M :o

figleaves - Bras, Panties, Swimsuits, and Full Figure Lingerie is the website ... sorry if this isn't allowed Kelly, but in all honesty this is something vital that us larger ladies need to know ...

I am a 20H and have only found Triumph bras that fit....

I am only an 18dd and cant find any that are affordable and fit :(

I have an Elle MacPherson intimates bra in a 12E, which is quite comfortable. I also really like the Lovable range.

I was an E before pregnancy, an F during pregnancy, a G breastfeeding, and now an F. All my bras since i got pregnant have been Triumph and they have been really comfy and as supportive as you can get without underwire, they are pricey but definately worth it, we were REALLY struggling financialy during pregancy til DS was 6months old and i still manage to but a few $70 pairs of bras, just layby them. Go to a lingerie store and get the esxperienced ladies to fit you, they are great.

I went into Target yesterday. They have maternity bras up to E cup :D They are all about $30. I'm going to try a truck load on next week. Big W ones only go up to DD, which sucks when your boobs double in side.

I went up to a 16H while pregnant, and the only one that I found that was comfortable and fit well was Triumph. I ended up getting 3 in the same style - not that there is really that much choice at that size! Got them at both Myer and Bras and Things

And why, oh why, do they insist on making the larger bras so fugly? My sister is a lot smaller than me and she was buying all different colours, and ones with plain cups, when I got stuck with the acres of disgusting lacy stuff covering my boobs. Not a good look...

Anyhoo, back to the topic at hand, I am now back into a 16E, and have found a Berlei sports maternity bra in bras and things - very comfy, supportive, and lower cut and not ugly lacy stuff. And it makes my boobs a better shape under clothes too - some others seemed to make me look like I was pointing at my armpits. Very unattractive...

Ok well the consensus seems to be Triumph so I will try them first. I guess I might get one of them and a couple of k-mart target cheapies to wear when I am slopping around the house,
I like the sound of the berli sport one too anything that makes your boobs a better shape under clothes has got to be good!

i had target ones and they were horrible, no support at all!! i wouldnt waste your money especially if your a larger cup, i went up to a d cup, i got loveable from myer and loved them, i saw an advert the other day for atore that goes up to a L cup, let me know if you wnat me to suss it out

Hi there- Triumph is definitely the go. I say this as an E cup who has three bras in three different brands- Triumph, HotMilk and HoneyBee. (Hate the last one hate it hate it hate it.) HotMilk is comfy but lets the ladies dangle somewhat, and whenever I look down I can see a great gap.
(This did, however, act as a handy reservoir when my beloved infant was projectile vomiting at me yesterday- everything just collected there. TMI? My apologies. :p) Triumph is the brand which I'm wearing at the gym and am going to wear to netball when I recommence that on Monday. I find it best not to actually look at my Triumph bra too closely or I start wondering whether the designer had a Bachelor of Structural Engineering, IYKWIM. Generally not a feature I look for in my lingerie.

Diva-n-Dan, thanks for posting that website! I frequent another shop which caters for the superbly endowed among us- Lisa's Lacies, in Melbourne. They have a great website and also offer maternity bras. Worth checking out, I think, even if they're a bit pricey. :)

Well I am back from shopping and after trying on everything that came in an E at k-mart (urmmmm no might as well wear two sandwich bags tied up with string) Bra's n things and David Jones I finally settled on the Berlei "Sweet nothing" Finally a bra that hold up, seperated and supports!
I also found the Y shaped inner supports seem no good to us larger mamma's I felt like my breast was being squeezed out like toothpaste when I let the cup down. Much more freedom in the one sided support. I'm loving the Berlei at the moment I am hoping is holds it's shape after being washed mulitple times.
Oh I ended up being a 14 E or in some a 12F so a huge Jump from the 10 E I was trying to stuff the girls into.

I have just come back from yet ANOTHER bra shopping trip and can't find anything that fits me :cry: I'm so frustrated! got fitted at Myers but of course they don't have anything that fits, even the lady there gave me cards and numbers for bigger busted women saying she really didn't think the bra's they had were good enough for my boobies! I'm a 12F or 14E and of course it depends on the actual bra, I tried on Berlie Barely There, Lovable and the triumph which were the ugliest, most uncomfortable and probably the most suportive of the 3 but still not worth paying $70 for minimal suport IYKWIM? I would have loooooved the Berlie but there cups are a bit small so definately needed an F which they only go up to E. It's so anoying going into a bra shop only to discover they have just 5 maternity bra's and only 1 in your size grrrrrrr!!

i'm starting to have that problem as well.

i've found one from target quite compfy at the moment (a massive 16E).
but they've started expanding again!!
so now i also have the not only painful but fustrating task of finding new bras as well.:crossfingers:

I'm currently a 14H - I ballooned from a 12E pre-pregnancy.
I don't look forward to getting any bigger.

i went shopping on friday in kmart (30% off maternity bras until wed), and actually found a few that fit nicely. and what was even more surprising, was that the ones i bought were D & DD's!!

Ok... I am back to square one too...

Last pg I had lovable in 18E and they were great (not so great in bed though)... but this time I am popping out of them!!!

I did have a triumph that still fits, but it is soooo high cut that I can't wear any tops other that high neck which I don't actually own...

I am yet to go shopping as am totally dreading it, is there any bigger bras out there that are lower cut?

Mel that sucks I know once you become an F or above your choices are even MORE limited! and although you know you can get some from an online store when your this big (me included) you REALLY need to try them on. I did manage to get some second hand ones on ebay and I brought a new Bareley There in an E cup although I'm an F, I was desperate.

The worst part is that they're all bl00dy lacy!! Lace irritates the crap out of me, and both the suitable ones i have at the moment are lace. It's so annoying! It's like i have to tissue stuff my bras just to make them comfortable... i mostly dread going back to work because have to wear these damn uncomfortable itchy irritating bras all day! :(

yeah I hear ya mine are lacy too and high cut grr I loove the Berlie motherly ones and the Barely there ones but they only come in DD and E after that were in the "unknown" I bought some cloth breast pads to stop the irritation why do they need to put a seam over the nipple?? OUCH!!

There is a company called Initmo (look up on website) who make beautiful bras. They are a party plan idea but I know they cater for big sizes.

Mel, if you're in Melbourne there's a shop called Lisa's Lacies in Seaford that stocks larger sized maternity bras. I ended up getting mine there in a 20GG when I was breastfeeding.

Also La Figure Lingerie in Camberwell also stock and can order in larger sized maternity bras.

k well i'm not as big as some of you (jesus i didn't know boobs came in m). but i'm going through the samething, looking for something affordable that fits. i have one nursing bra 36DD and guess what yeppers i'm popping out i've tried a 40DD with a regular underwire and once again muffin top. I've looked but i can't find anything bigger, that's affordable i was thinking maybe a sports bra or something. at this point i don't care what the girls look like under the shirt there getting to heavey to support lol.
