Having a scan in two weeks, to see if there is 1 or 2 and too see that lovely hb flashing away.

Just an update from me.

Have been getting my HCG levels tested and the results are:

4 weeks - HCG 220, Progesterone 54
4 weeks 6 days - HCG 2800, Progesterone 45

Bit concerned my progesterone has dropped, but it is still in the good zone. HCG is really good though.

Was feeling a bit down due to the drop in progesterone and I was discharging from 4 weeks 4 days until 5 weeks 2days, but then last night I had a bout of nausea so that has raised my confidence a little.

Get more blood results tomorrow (wed 7/11/07) and have our first scan on Thursday 8/11/07.

I sooo hope all is ok.

I'm praying for you. Hcg levels are a plus!

Another update from me.

Just got my last lost of blood work through and the results are:

5 weeks 4 days - HCG 9700, Progesterone 43


So to date my results are:
4 weeks - HCG 220, Progesterone 54
4 weeks 6 days - HCG 2800, Progesterone 45
5 weeks 4 days - HCG 9700, Progesterone 43

Progesterone didn't drop as much and my HCG levels are really good.

Looks good so far.

Have a scan 2morrow and that should be the determiner.

Feeling more confident though that all is ok.

Well the scan went well. We have only 1 this time. No sign of a bleed. Only prob is, is that the heart beat was slow at 107bpm. I guess if I didn't have extra information like when we lost our first pregnancy, one of the twins had a heart rate of 109bpm which they told me was slow and sure enuf we lost it. This is going to play on my mind, but for now it is a start, we have an alive bubba, so lets just hope that the heart rate gets stronger. I know Lachlan at the same gestation was 126bpm. I think they like them to be over 120bpm. They dated me at 6 weeks 2 days, which makes me due 30th June I think?

Congratulations Sheree!

I posted my question of the low heart rate on here tonight and I got such a great response. Appears anything over 100bpm is good. Phew relief, and alot of these people had surviving babies of low heart rates, so that is def reassuring.

I guess having the vivid memory of one of my twins loosing the heart rate when it was 109bpm had me worried, but I guess that was just meant to be too and it was going to happen, didn't mean it was too slow.

So I am going to keep thinking happy thoughts for my bub, I just know all is going to be ok now.

Just an update from me.

I saw my gyno Thursday fortnight ago and bubs heart rate was 135bpm (7 weeks 2 days), and he said all looked well, no bleeding around or in the sac, the discharge I had was unexplained but believes bubs is doing well. I am so pleased. I finally feel like I can breathe. He wants me to have another scan in the next week or so, just to keep my mind reassured.

So the low heart rate he explained was not really low and he said anything over 100 he would have been happy with (bubs heart rate was 107 at 6 weeks 2 days). I guess I was more concerned because I have lost a twin at 109bpm and on the scan report it said the hr was slow.

Sometimes too much information can be damaging to your mind huh.

I also have to go back to him in January and have another colposcopy, but this time whilst pregnant. I have had a low grade abnormality since Lachlan was born and a papsmear recently showed that it is high grade. So he just wants to make sure there is no cancer. Crossing fingers all is ok!
