Mucus Plug....
So basically still in pain and waiting for regular contractions to start... it's driving me mad!
This morning i had a Obs appointment! And of course the minute i got home had to go to the loo... and found a seamen looking clump with blood around it. So i'm assusing it's my mucus plug????? What do you guys think?
I have rung and made a GP appointment for tomorrow, to see what she says.

It sounds like it to me! I went into pre-term labour 4 weeks ago after I lost my plug and it looked exactly like a clump of semen (about 1/2 teaspoon) mixed with a bit of blood. Good luck !!!
-
Yep definately Kirby. I hate to tell you though, I lost mine 2 weeks before Jack was born. But with all the pre labour my labour was only 3 hours long. But then I have known some women to go into labour only a few hours after losing theirs, so fingers crossed things happen soon for you and it's quick. Good luck.

Yes sounds like your plug to me
-
I always lost mine the day before or day off having baby so good luck!
you will have a baby very soon..
Whats with you Alan alway beating me by a second LOL

I lost mine yesterday, and got all excited, since then have had irregular contractions, with three little batches of regular contractions for about 4 hours each which got to about 15 minutes apart then have stopped again. But everybody is different!
Wishing you lots of luck with yours - hope you have a bubba to hold very soon!
-
Suse, good luck for you as well. You must be ready to pop!!
-
Sorry Tali. I will type a little slower ;)
-
well if you hadn't guess already I am blond so only two of my fingers work LOL
-
Ta Mummy-Mel! Yep, so ready to pop - induction booked for Wednesday, with hossy open to 'extension' if all still looking OK (YAY!!!), but hope that he decides to come out before then.
I've been bouncing on my gym-ball all day so if anything I'll just annoy the little bu**er so much that he wants to come out!
-
LOL Suse, that'll teach him on being a stubborn bugger. I hope you beat your induction date!

Awh... Thanks for thinging of me!
I'm still hanging around waiting for bub to appear!
Yesterday we got all excited as i was getting contractions about every 10 mins from around 2ish and they continued for about 12 hrs, but now they seem to have calmed down!
So i've been cleaning the house all morning... under mum's instructions, apparently it works!
If you know any things that will help happy to take advice....

ps... we have been trying the sex thing... but sorta freaked me out as bubba is fully engaged and he tends to get shoved around a bit during... sorry for the TMI!

I was always told to go for a walk and it work everytime. so try that but dont go alone and make sure DH could still run home for the car if you needed it. you will have a baby very soon so dont stress too much I know thats easy for me to say but baby will come when its ready.
Good luck hope to see a up date very soon ;)

Yeah Kirby, sounds close, how exciting for you and your partner. My advice is to try and get as much sleep as possible over the next few days, bubs sounds like he/she will be here soon, and you will need all the sleep possible. Try not to over do it, because believe me once bubs is here, you'll be like why did I do all that. Tali is right bubs won't come either way until he/she is ready, but I know how hard it is after having labour stopped at 31 weeks, and then stop start, stop start for several weeks, you just want things to happen for real (of course once you reach that safety zone age, which I know you have:) ) it can be very fustrating. So my suggestion is Accupuncture it worked for me, but it could have been just a coincidence but I believe it gave my body that extra kick it needed to start things for real. I had 1 dose, nothing, (later I learnt though, it was to just prepare my body), second things picked up a little but still no real action (after this one I was starting to loose faith and not interested in the 3rd) but had the 3rd 5 days after the 1st and things picked up again over the next 24 hours and then things happened for real, 3 hours of labour and my boy was here. So who knows if it worked or if it was going to happen anyway, but either way, it lifted my spirits.
Good luck and fingers crossed for you it happens soon.
