I am gobsmacked!

I'm pregnant!!

I did a test (actually two) yesterday just to show DH that I'm not pg so that he can stop pestering me, and guess what .... I made an idiot of myself :cryinglaugh:

DH has been telling me for the past week that I am pregnant, but I have been telling him that he does not know what he is talking about. So after I missed my period on Sunday he was almost unbearable. I told him to go buy a test so that he can see that I'm not pg and SHUT UP already. I was having my usual pre-AF symptoms. Bloated, soft bowl movement (TMI), faint lower back pain .. so there was nothing that could have prepeard me for seeing that line :redface:
I was so shocked that I made him go back into town and buy another one, just to make sure. He forced almost 2 liters of water into me, just so that I can have enough wee for the second test :cryinglaugh: Well, that faint line was on both the tests. Can you imagine his reaction. Can you spel insufferable???? He has been going about the house like a pure-bred stallion, saying he can make anyone pregnant :rolleyes: (I have to live with that man) He even told me this morning that he was not finished and that I must get back into bed with him, because he forgot to put the kid's ears on :rolleyes:
Actually I am dissapointed in myself for not "seeing" what he has been seeing the past week. I did have some heartburn trought the nights (I now know that it was actually my version of morning sickness)

When we began ttc, we decided that after this one we are done and that we are going to get him fixed. NOW he told me this morning that it would be a SIN to fix him, because he has a gift :wtf:

I had to chuckle as I found out I was pg the second time in much the same way - DH had already known for a week and I was sure he was wrong :redface: . Oh well, it's ok if they are right once in a while ;) .

Thank you all for the best wishes and full term vibes. I am so looking forward to this pregnancy. I talked to DH and told him that I am not planning anything this time and are going to take this one day at a time. I am however going to pack my c/s-bag (no VBAC for me, unfortunatly) when I hit 26 weeks AND I am going to finish little bug's cot BEFORE that time :)

I almost smacked DH last night. We have a double shower and as we got out, he said: "Hun, turn so I can see your tummy" So I do, thinking he was going to be sweet and sensitive and he says: "Yup, preggers alright" and then he made a WHALE sound!! :rolleyes: :lol: I just had to laugh. I forgot how totally wicked he was during the first pg. So I am looking forward to nine months of snide and witty "fat/preggie" jokes - yay - NOT!!!

CONGRATULATIONS!! That was great (and funny) reading. Here's to a healthy pregnancy. You know what, there must have been something in the air last month as I was on the pill, LMP on the 14th too and then when it didn't come last monday something in me made me go and by a HPT. Nearly didn't use it, telling myself that niggling thought was just ridiculous, since I was on the pill. But there it was - two bright pink lines! So I'm due around the same time as you!! Although I have a 28 day cycle so my due date is the 19th Dec. Did you have a 30 day cycle? I would have thought we'd be due the same day? DH was spewing - we were looking to ttc in July, and he was all up for a baby making fest!
