I had really strong feelings with my 1st, 2nd and 4th pgs which were all right. I used to have dreams about them too being the gender they were too. My third one was baffling and I got 'mixed signals' about it and couldn't decide if it were a boy or girl (was a girl). I did read once that up to 70% of women who have dreams or 'feelings' about what gender their unborn is are usually right in their prediction.
I have a really strong feeling its a boy an i have dreamt it was a boy ..... HOPE SO ....
I always thought I was having a boy. A week before I gave birth I suddenly had the thought that I was having a girl. A week later my beautiful DD was born.
I really should have known I was going to have a girl. All my life I thought my first child would be a girl up until I got pregnant.
No, I'm pretty hopeless. I always get dreams about both, however when preg with first I did dream I had triplets, girl, boy, girl. And I did get that, just not all at once!
I have always 'known' I am going to have two boys. While pregnant I was pretty certain our bubba was a boy and I was right.
DP and I thought DEFINITELY a boy (even though DP wanted a girl). So I thought why waste time choosing girls names?
Completely wrong so then we dilly-dallied for two weeks after she was born to think of something and drove our families NUTS.
Now of course, I can't imagine having a boy at all.
We are finding out in about 3 weeks ...... i cant wait....
i was positive DD was a boy!! she was an a delightful DD, just what i secretly wanted!!
My whole life I knew I was going to have a boy first - I dreamt of him from a really, really young age.
When I fell pg I had no doubt at all... and he didn't prove me wrong ;)
I've always thought I would have 2 girls after and then another boy - sometimes its twin girls, and other times its just two girls quite close in age.
Every time I've ever had my cards, etc done, they have all said the same thing... so thats interesting ;)
Now, I just wish the little ones would hurry up and decide they want to be here!!! :p
One day during the third trimester we were asked what we thought we were having and DH and I both said we thought we were having a girl.
A few weeks later our beautiful baby girl arrived so I chalk that up to intuition! :D
With my first 2 i just new they were boys, it was a very powerful feeling
Number3 stumped me because my pregnancy was completely different i felt different, i was sure he was a girl, i was wrong LOL
I always thought that DD was a girl and I was right :D I also felt that I was going to be 2 weeks early and I was spot on about that too!
I had a feel DS was a boy and he was, and this one is a girl and she is... but then i wanted a boy first and then a girl so i dont know if that played on it at all..
I always thought DD1 was a boy....but was a girl.
Then DD2 pregnancy was so different, up until the 18 week scan i swore it was a boy..and was another girl.
This time im telling myself its a girl cos deep down i think ill have another princess.
I always thought i'd have a boy first. When I fell pregnant, I always dreamt of a boy. I've been told at two different ultra sounds that it is a boy. I'm just waiting to confirm that in a week or so at my 20 wk scan. I'd say you're having a boy.
I always had a feeling with Logan he was a boy, and he proved me right. With this bub i was sure it was a girl because i was feeling different and the heartbeat was quite fast.
Found out on Friday- He has a doodle!!!
LOL, guess your body can fool you;)

With my first pregnancy i just knew i was having a boy. With my second i wasnt as sure, but had a feeling it might be a girl, and i was right. But the third i had no idea, ended up a boy, and the fourth and fifth i thought was a boy and it was. So i think intuition has alot to do with it. I'd say your having a boy too :D
I didn't have any feelings or anything with DS. I wanted a girl, but it wasn't to be.
My DP had feelings DS was a boy and he was right.
This time, I felt like this was a girl, my DP too, but we were told "it looks like a boy" from a profile view of the baby, and the lady wasn't that reassuring, so we're not sure that bubba is a blue one.
Gotta wait and seeeee. :D
I was 18 weeks along when I decided Cooper was a boy. I was just 100% positive. We didn't find out until after he was born. I was right.
With this one, I decided at about 20 weeks it is a boy. We will find out in August!!!!
I consider myself an extremely intuitive person ...
And I was about 80% sure I as having a BOY ... then the last 2months of my pregnancy I thought gee maybe it could be a GIRL ' but ' I still felt very strongly it was a BOY ...
:cheer: Well, I had a GIRL
So, there you go ... You never know ;)
The not-knowing, ... the surprise was an ' Ultimate Gift ' that I gave myself after all that pushing at birth ... It was a priceless GIFT ... I recommend anyone to experience that feeling as it's just so amazing .. by simply choosing to not find out the sex of their baby whilst pregnant you will give yourself a double wham of amazement & the most beautiful surprise you could ever ask for :)
I was certain I would have a girl.
Then when I actually got pregnant, I thought it was a boy...and DF was CERTAIN it was going to be a boy because his family just dont produce girls...
As it turns out, we and my BIL both had the only girls born to their family in 4 generations! lol
I knew with both of mine.
With DD I knew she was a girl the minute I saw the two lines. It was positively eerie. I just knew in my gut. We never even discussed boys names I was so sure.
With DS I felt at the start he was a boy but I wasn't dead sure like with DD. When I was about 14 weeks we asked our OB to have a look at the sex and he told us he thought it was a girl. It just didn't feel right to me and we didn't tell a soul (we told everyone with DD) because I just thought it was wrong.
Sure enough at the 20 week scan the crown jewels were there for all to see :)
well i think im having a boy... DP thinks its a girl. Ill find out in about 18 days :)
Both DH and I believe it is a boy. We find out on 30th May. I wasn't sure until we had the first ultrasound and I was looking at our bub thinking "hello little boy".
I didn't really know. We had 2 girls names very easily though and NEVER found a boys name we liked, and i did have a dream a few weeks before she was born that she was a girl, but i wonder now if i only remember that specific dream because it turned out to be right. LOL

It look slike most of you knew what it was so im going with BOY .....
still got our girls name from the last baby ... i knew he was a boy too.... but still chose a name just incase ....
Thanks girls for your input been fun reading them.... :)
Great thread!
I am so positive Bubble & Squeak are both boys! DH thinks one of each and he was right about their being twins when i was sure there was only one. We will have to wait and see who is right!

Shannon - Are you finding out or waiting for the suprise
I was 199% sure that my Ds was a boy.. I bought stuff overseas, boy stuff etc.. So I was soooo certain. and yup i was right..
With this pregnancy i have no idea..
Yep we are finding out :) I figure with two babies my post baby shopping will be severly limited!
im having a feeling that i am having a baby boy and have thought this from the start but df thinks its a girl so it will be interesting to see in 5 weeks who is right :P
For my first I was pretty convinced I was having a boy, I just had that feeling. We couldn't find out on u/s, and when she came out she was a girl! We didn't even have a girls name picked... For our second, we found out and I was scared to trust my feelings so I refused to even listen for them.
I had the same experience ... the sonographer said it looked like boy parts, but since then, I have had really strong feelings it's a girl, and my kids keep saying "she" and "her" all the time ... I have also looked at some of the ultrasound piccies in the gallery, and especially those that have really clear views, what I saw in my ultrasound looks more to me like girl parts!!
At the time of my ultrasound, I even doubted what she said, cause she didn't sound too convincing, and I thought what she was referring to could just as easily been part of the cord sitting between the legs ...
So we too have to wait and see!
I was sure DS1 was going to be a boy. We didn't find out until he was born - but then there was no doubt, he was a boy!! I had no feelings at all with DS2, but obviously he was a boy too!!
I thought Boy with my first and I was right, he was a boy. (Didn't find out sex)
I thought Girl with my second and I was right again, she was a girl. (Didn't find out sex) And I knew I would go early and I did. 3 weeks early!!
I though Boy for this one and we found out that I am having another Boy. Right again. I also have a feeling I will go early with this one too. Only time will tell I guess.
I really thought girl for my second as my pregnancy was the complete opposite to my first. I thought boy for this one as this pregnancy has been so similar to my first. Luckily, I have been right on all three occasions!!
You are so lucky ... all four of my pregnancies have been very different, so it has been hard to "guess" the sex by pregnancy symptoms!! I never thought that one person could have such diverse experiences!! :dunno: My 2nd and 3rd pregnancies were more similar (although m/s in 3rd was heaps worse) and they were opposite sexes! This one is more similar to my 1st (although 1st I had no m/s whatsover, and this time, food aversions and alot of 1st trimester weight loss and nausea), so who knows?? :)
I felt strongly right from the get go that I was having a boy, and I was correct, we had a boy.
I felt that I was having a girl - dreamt of it and just thought I was. Even though I felt that way I kept getting drawn to boys clothes in the shops which was kinda weird seeing I was so sure I was having a girl. The amnio results came in and it was a boy - I was so shocked, but then realised why I had been getting attracted to the boys clothes all the time.
