I thought it might be interesting to see what had made others burst out into irrational tears while they were pregnant.
Last night DF offered me some chocolate and I literally burst our crying JUST BECAUSE I DIDNT WANT ANY. WTF???? :rolleyes:
So what made YOU cry????

I cried cus my overalls didn't fit..
My eyebrows were fat and so were my wrists (dh loves to tell that story)
I cried cus I didn't want what we were having for dinner..
I cired cus Dh dropped peas on the carpet
and one he just told which I had forgotten
I used to work in daycare and I cried cus the kids were picking on me
and that was just my first pregnancy.. I cried over everything.. If i couldn't find a pen or something to wear. I was an emotional mess :lol:

I never cried when pregnant, but I did have a major, foot stomping, turning the air blue tanty over a bobby-pin that just wouldn't sit right.
Admittedly, it happened on the day before we moved interstate, I was six months pregnant and I'd remained calm for the past two months whilst organising the move and had been packing for up to ten hours a day for the past two weeks. It was the bobby-pin that broke the camel's back. :lol:
Where to start...I cry over everything, but now that i am thinking about it I can't come up with the really good irrational ones!! And there are plenty...
Last night I cried leaving work because it was really busy and I was getting annoyed with the girl that I was working with because she wasn't carrying her weight, giving me more work but then as we were leaving she pulled out a gift for me and she said it was for giving her lifts to and from work in the past (which was this beautiful picture frame of a pregnant sillouette to put a picture of the u/s in the belly) and I cried all the way to my car!! I felt so guilty for being annoyed!
Oh where to begin...
Last night I stood in my bra and new jeans that don't really fit properly and cried because I was going out and I had NOTHING to wear and I was too tired to go anyway, and now that I was crying all the makeup I had spent time doing was washing off my face and Im fat....
These days most of my tears are either clothes related or VBAC related!
With Izzy I would often sob into my dinner night after night for no known reason... couldn't tell you why!
lol i cried for no reason half the time lol but mostly how i wasnt getting a belly
I cried because Wollies didnt have any of the biscuits i wanted left. I havel also cried because dh's side of the bed was warmer than mine and it wasnt fair.....WTF???? lol
I cried because something I wanted to buy at the supermarket was on the bottom shelf and I didn't want to bend down to pick it up. Other times when someone called me Don not Donna (normally not an issue) and when I had a dream about Mil Hannah (footy plyer from 80's)
Oh I'm loving this thread, I'm a crier too. I cry at ads on TV.
In NSW there's this workcover ad where the boy is waiting for his Dad to come home... and there are all these scenes of all these other Dads coming home... but the little boy is still waiting... and then the Mum's on the phone looking worried........... and then the Dad turns up and the little boy is happy and the Mum is relieved... and I'm crying now just thinking about it.
ETA: Oh yeah, and there are scenes with Mums coming home to SAHDs too (which I really appreciate) and it’s all set to Dido’s “Here With Me” (and now I’m crying again).
when i was pregnant with my first daughter i cried because my partner only taped 2 hours of the finale of survivor and i missed out on the last hour where they get together and talk about it all. havent had anything like that this time around.
I cry over ads, my kids not hugging me, df on the computer all the time, the hot water running out, not having clothes that fit, no chocolate in the house when i desparately want some.
You name it I cry over it. Have been really emotional with this baby
Saturday night i was watching Speed and cried because of the waste of the bus. Seriously i am a fruit loop lately. :redface:
i was in Pumpkin patch early this pregnancy and was looking at the premmie clothes.
DD was in prem clothes for about 4 weeks when born.. i turned to the girl next to me and said....oh they are so small... then started crying and had to leave lol
Now not much makes me cry unless i am tired too

So far I have cried because I don't know what to eat, at TV shows, at posts on BB, and the other day in a bookshop when we were looking at some photographic books with beautiful photos.
iv cried over many silly things tv ads movies,my boss yelling at me for stupid lil thngs ( thats why i no longer work there) lol just couldnt handle it. Whle being preg.im So emo ! And the kids at the childcare centre i workd at. Omg, the just stressd me to the max Lol, Oh and my puppies are at my df m&d place, i miss them, and cried the otha day coz we had to leave them. coz we r in temp accom for a few wks while we wait for tennants to move out of our house we now own. Plus im always complainin bout my bak being sore, iv got big tits.. Size E. Not fun, reguardles of the compliments i get lol.
ok mine has gotta be the stupidest..i am of catholic faith but not in a deep way,i do go to church but not every sunday..i cried today watching the pope fly off out of sydney...roflmao
and i forgot to mention my house and timber blinds are dusty and my floors had tumbleweed dust,i bawled over that..lol

I cried on Saturday watching "The Notebook", never seen it before, now I'm in love with Ryan Gosling RRRRR(roll the R's)!!:rolleyes: ahem.. see I'm not even pregnant and still am loopy and sooky.
DH and I :woot: :lol: last night I cried during and after, I don't think I'll be getting any again...:doh: sorry if that was too much info. :D
oh i admit im a huuuuuuuuge sook atm. some things i have cried at are....
- the simpsons when lisa lost her saxaphone
- i was in coles and i burst out crying coz there was no strawberries left.
- putting on my shoes.. i couldnt help it.. i cried i think because of how simple it USED to be.
- when i cant get comfy in bed..
- i get in the car and ive realised i have forgetten something inside ( this really does it for me atm)
- when im having a "fat" day i cry more, which is every day atm
- when people tell me im huge...oh i hate that word :(
- when i drop something on the floor, but i have to admit ever since being pregnant i drop everything on the floor! why is that? am i being punished? lol
thats all i can think of for now... but its pretty safe to say i cry at everything pretty much. Funny thing is when im crying i know im being stupid which makes me cry even more!! i cry beause im crying!! lol... mmmm yes i know what ur thinking lol

I was really good! I really only had a moment after painting the nursery ...
The room was painted the day before and dh and a friend were putting up the wallpaper border, I was helping to make sure it was straight and not lopsided. Went out and came back in about 2 mins later when they had finished and I started to cry! Maybe it was the pg or maybe it just looked that good...

And I rushed into DH's study bawling and he said, why are you bawling - and I said "it was a saaaaaaad aaaaad". And he laughed his guts out, and as I stopped, he said, "if i pointed at you and said cry, you'd cry". And I did!:

And I cried because DH got me biscuits when i had m/s and they were new peppermint gluten free ones I'd never tried, and I was so thrilled cos I really felt like peppermint choc and thought we didn't have any. So I cried.
These are good.
I cry for movies, especially the animated ones.
And then there are this ad for some investment company on the tv where a butterfly flaps it's wings and then they show pictures of how the wind begins to get stronger and stronger and ends up becoming a tornado ... and then they print on a blank black screen in white ... Realise your Potential (BAWLING!!!!!) Gets me everytime.
Oh yeah and when dd does something cute, really really cute .. I cry just because I am her mommy

Ooh i'm so with you on that. When we flew to Cairns, I swear I dropped things every 5 mins and I couldn't bend over to get them. In the end, DH picked up everything we had and offered to throw them on the floor for me just to be efficient :rofl:.
And last night I cried because I couldn't find a low GI, onion/wheat-free recipe to use up the leftover roast lamb from the roast DH cooked last night... WTF?!?!?
Oh I forgot I cried for no reason what so ever.. We were driving along and I turned to Dh and said I suddenly feel like crying and I sat there crying and laughing then I sobbed hysterically then I laughed and laughed.
PMSL I can't even remember a few of the times that were really hilarious, but I have cried because I felt like roast beef at 8pm at night and couldn't have any! And I also ccried because there was only enough vegemite left in the jar for one more piece of toast!!!!!!!!!
I watched ... Oh whats that movie with Tom hanks and he's stuck on an island? Castaway? Anyway, I watched that movie for the first time this year and I bawled my eyes out when he lost the ball who was his friend!! I seriously cried for about 10 minutes, Shel had to pause the movie! I was just so sad that he lost his friend. I probably would have cried anyway, knowing me lol, but I laugh now at how emotional I actually got at a movie!!!!!!!
Oh, and yesterday morning I cried because I slept in and when I woke up Shel was already out of bed. Don't ask me why i cried since I had the whole bed to myself I should have stayed in bed for another few hours!!!!!!!! But I got up and cried because she wasn't there!
I tell ya, pregnancy hormones are funny things!!!!! At least we can laugh at it later, although Shel still hasn't quite grasped the 'don't laugh at a pregnant woman crying however hilarious their reasons are' concept yet :doh:

I wish I could find that NSW workcover ad on the net somewhere. I have looked but haven't had any luck. I really want to share the love, for those of you not in NSW. I swear it is such a great ad.
Yeah, that work cover ad got me too. I'd seen it before I was pg, but while pg it took on a whole knew meaning.
There were HEAPS of ads I cried over.
We wanted a boy desperately this time - lots of reasons - when I found out Jesse was a boy I was grinning from ear to ear, but after that day, every time I thought to myself 'we're gonna have a boy' I'd cry!
I think I cried nearly every night for the last 3 months. For different reasons. I was lonely, or I was bored, or DH & I were too happy???
Happy things, sad things. Kids fighting, kids getting along. It all got me.
Oh alot of crying over the last few weeks were coz I thought I'd end up giving birth alone! I was scared DH wouldn't make it from work. He did.
Oh & Leasha - Cast Away got me anyway. Heaps of movies get me even when I'm not pg. DH thinks I'm way too emotional!
Just this morning I cried because DH told me to do the dishes!! I don't have a kitchen atm (renovating) and yes, I should have done the dishes like Sunday already, but I just did not want to hear it from him. Then he started laughing at me and I started to cry even harder, I just could not help myself!!
My eyes were not even red afterwards .... typical hormonal cry session. *sigh*
Tonight i cried cos DH threw my one and only vege peeler out so iad to peel my spuds with a knife then i cried 20 mins later cos had no butter/marg to mash my spuds
LOL! yes i cried at that too (its not a workcover ad in qld i don't think, just a safety awareness ad, but anyway, its there and I bawled!), oh and those drug ads where the kids are saying 'when i grow up...' and it shows them doing drugs and i though it was the saddest thing in the world. PLus a lot of other ads!:

When am I not crying, I cry if hubbys home 2 mins late, if I can't decide what to cook for tea, if I forgot to hang the washing, if my son gets into the pantry and worst of all I start crying if hubby falls asleep on the lounge coz i don't want to sit up alone!:cryinglaugh:

OMG I so have to show this to my husband, he thought I was going loopy through all 3 of my pregnancies. The best were:
- Crying and saying that DH wasn't a dietitian because he wouldn't let me eat the full block of chocolate... I kept crying and crying and he came into the bedroom, and did the 'there-there' thing, and then he got up... I said, "whereeeee are youooo gooooinnngg??' sob sob... He explained that the ads were finished, and his show was back on, and he'd be back in the next ad break.
- Crying hysterically in the middle of Kmart, because they didn't have any petunias. Maybe OK if it was Bunnings, but....
- Crying at the McDonalds ad a few years back, the ANZAC one, where there is 4 old dudes sitting around a table drinking coffee, and then one by one, they slowly fade away - "Lest We Forget" - OMG - I am tearing up right now! ARRRGGH!!
I have had a cheezel craving this time around - and I absolutely lost it when I had put the kids to bed and wanted a handful of cheezels - and DH had just finished the box ........ and then I cried cos i was already in my pj's and couldn't go to the supermarket (500m away) .... and then I cried cos DH wouldn't go and told me to eat some chips instead - I didn't want CHIPS!

Wow. I thought I was kind of bad, but I guess not really!
I cried mostly at songs and ads. The OnStar ad that was going on when I was pg with DD2 was bad for me - lady gets in an accident and calls onstar and the onstar guy calls her husband for her, and an ambulance.... (real life call, but honestly, not worth tears!)
I have a favourite CD that my brother made up for me. When I was pregnant with DD3, EVERY SONG, even the funny ones, made me cry. :redface:
The only other thing that made me cry was being exhausted and trying to get supper ready, but that's not anything really weird, I don't think. That can happen pg or not!
I cried becuase my dh didn't like my hair cut.
I cried because I was talking about my hair cut
I cried because my brother in law said what have you done to your hair (he actually just meant it in a good way thats what he says when he notices somethings different)
I cried because room service didn't come
I cried because when room service came, the desert didn't have icecream
I cry a lot! and its not like me at all. Perhaps its payback because I missed morning sickness :lol:

I cry at work - seriously not a good look.
I work in a pharmacy and have to repeatedly ask people for their medicare cards etc, and some people just dont like to give them to you.....cue me locked in toilet for half an hour sobbing my head off!! so pathetic.
rude customers who normally wouldnt bother me, i will be a heap on the floor, crying newborns in the shop, im a wet mess. hmmmmm.....
dp likes to stir me up heaps, usually this is ok but at the moment it just sets me off, then he laughs cos Im crying so I cry some more.
I cant watch the ads on tv cos i will cry, have stayed away from movies as I am a sook with that kind of thing anyway.
so nice to know im not the only one!!!;)
I worked the whole way through the pg until 8 months...At around 5 months I started crying at work...not a good look in a 5 star kitchen! lol Anything would set me off.
I had a complete meltdown because I couldnt get a quenelle to sit right....Then I cried because the passionfruit surd wasn't the right colour....Oh, and I cried when I had to boil the marron....poor little marron men!!
The worst was when I used to cry when my chef made me my hot chocolate every morning!! Sooo sad....lol
