Hi courageous ladies. I don't post often, but had a nagging question.
I had 2 day 5 embies put back in last week, and am now just waiting for that blood test (which I have crossed everything will be positive!) on Friday. I've been trying to look for signs of implantation (spotting), but have not had anything. Is this spotting a must for ladies who have fallen pg, or have there been pgs without the spotting? Just curious. :)
I am not sure but I think that implanation spotting is not that common.
I do know that you can definately be pregnant and not have spotting :)
Hi! I hope it's OK for me to post in this section! I just wanted to say that I have never had implantation spotting with any of my 3 pregnancies (one ended in m/c). I only knew I was pg when I POAS!

Out of my five pregnancies Ive only had implantation bleeding once. My fingers are crossed for you.

ive never had implantation spotting... not even a drop and im well as u can see from my ticker...PREGNANT!!! good luck sweety!
4 pregnancies here, all from IVF, and only one episode of implantation spotting.
It's not necessary to have implantation spotting in order to be pregnant, and it does actually seem quite rare.
I'm really not sure it's possible to know for sure one way or the other with IVF until you get to that blood test. I've heard of BFNs with all the pregnancy symptoms in the book and BFPs with not a single symptom at all, and everything in between.

It's not hugely common - out of 4 pregnancies I've only seen it once.

Fingers crossed for you hun, but in 3 pregnancies, I had implantation spotting once -when DD was concieved. It was a light pink smear and I thought my cycle was up S*** creek. Its not very common, so dont look out for it, Id watch for other things like sore BBS. Just to let you know - generally most symptoms dont kick in until the 6wk mark, so you may well be pg and not have any obvious symptoms. Here's hoping!

I've had 5 pregnancies & never had implantation spotting. I knew with DS I was pg at 3 weeks after LMP just from sore boob though, if that helps.
Thank you so much for all your replies and wishes! It certainly helps a great deal to know what you all have experienced and it makes me less anxious trying to look out for it. :D
4 pregnancies here and no implantation spotting with any of them including the successful one. What I noticed first with the last two was a stuffy nose followed by bleeding gums - all before I tested positive on a HPT.
I didn't get any signs or symptoms including implantation spotting until well after my BT to show that I was PG

Arrgh! Today seems to be going SO SLOW. I had my BT this morning so now I've just got the wait for results. I just noticed some brownish discharge on my liner (sorry, if TMI!). I hope it's not AF on her way! STAY AWAY! Although I was quite anxious and did POAS this morn and there was a faint line. Trying not to get my hopes too high. :pray:

Well, I'm a bit shocked still...but i got the BFP I was praying for! It seems so unreal. It's still early, so the next prayers will be for the little one to grow strong and healthy until that 'safe' period. :pray: Another BT on Tuesday to monitor.

Well my BFP has turned to sadness, finding out that my second BT had lower hCG than the first. The nurse at the clinic told me the pregnancy is unlikely to continue and to stop taking the Crinone and wait for AF. I was devastated 2 days ago, but am better today. It happens apparently...and I guess the positive is that I know i can get pg.
Moving on...
oh Pickles, I so sorry....
I had a very similar experience... They say one in 5 pregnancies ends in early m/c and often goes unnoticed (people just think the AF is late).... when the nurse said this to me I was very angry because to me I knew I had m/c but I got over it..she was only trying to help.. but you are right it is positive to know that you can get pg.

I had Pregnyl 3 time this cycle in different doses. 5000IU,1500IU and again 1500IU. Today is 29th day but no periods. instead got light brown spottings for 2 days. is this implantation spotting ? if so am I pg?:pray::pray::pray::pray::pray::pray:
