26 August 2008 - *charmalea*'s baby GIRL has arrived!

A proud Auntie, I'm in here straight after I got the news...

Lea has had her baby girl!

I received these msgs last night :

9.06pm - In hosp.. Ctx from 3 this arvo 2 mins apart. 3cm. Went to get sleeping tabs and a check up but they made me stay.. I will prob have her tomorrow..

9.57pm - In lots of pain!! Ouchhy!

12.45am - Unnamed little girl. 7lb 12oz. Born at 11.30pm.

At this stage, I'm unsure whether Lea got the VBAC that she was after. I'll pop back in later and update. The pic will be in my gallery!

1.55am - Baby Johnston born 1130pm 26 Aug. Girli 7lb 12. 49cm. Great birth and no name yet :) we are both doing well :)

yes it was a VBAC ... 8 hrs from start of *active labour* till birth , 30 mins pushing , had pethadine shot to help me sleep but ctx got the better of me and midwives were surprised at the progress , got on the gas and asked for an epidural , never got one as i was 9cms when she check and she was born half an hour later !!

i cant not belive i actually did it ... i was in denail i was in labour and still didnt believe it even when i was admitted ... i thought they were goign to give me pethadine and send me home :lol:
