Hi,
We are looking for inspiration for boys names. I don't mind Louis or Isaac but dh doesn't absolutely love them and we are a bit stuck for other options.
Sooooo....ds1's name is Declan and just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on names if we happen to have another boy!

Unfortunately..well not unfortunately but ykwim its Declan James so that kind of rules James out. On the "don't mind but don't absolutely love" list is Joshua, Lucas, Caelan. Some of the other suggestions are great names but ruled out with family/friends etc already having kids with those names. I'm starting to sound difficult aren't I!
Anyway, feel free to keep the ideas rolling!!!:)
Being difficults allowed its a big decision!

Cameron is a nice strong name which goes well with Declan (IMO). It's not Irish but it's Scottish!! Ceiran is Irish tho...
Some other suggestions: Brayden, Samuel (old fashioned but I love it), Tristan,
Samson, Caedan, Ashton, Liam, Hayden, Levi... Boys are hard I think- there is so much more choice for girls- plus the girls keep stealing all the boys names these days so the poor boys are stumped for choice!!
I like the suggested Caelan too - its a variant of the Irish male name Callan. Also goes well with Declan but is not too similar.

Stay away from names like Joshua, Jacob, jayden. They are all very popular names & your son will end up in a class of 4 kids with the same name.
