Don't feel pregnant?
Ok i am apparently 7 weeks pregnant this week but i honestly do not feel pregnant. I have had no morning sickness or bood soreness or anything. Only think is my tummy seems to poke out a bit but i think that is just me putting on weight from eating to much food! I mean i am only 168cm and was 55kg but have gone up to 56 but that is my fault for not exercising like i used to!
I guess i should be happy i do not have any morning sickness or anything but it would be nice to feel pregnant
-
I didn't get any morning sickness - the only time i was sick was on the day long flight from the uk to here and one other time when I ate porridge but that was at about 16 weeks! The only symptoms I had were extreme tiredness but then I was just finishing my degree so studying round the clock.I don't think it sunk in that I was pregnant until I had my first scan at 19 weeks as I missed the dating scan due to flying here! To be honest I think I don't even feel that pregnant now unless I wake up with reflux or try walking between things! lol
-
Ok i dont feel so bad now. I was just starting to worry i may not be pregnant!
I will be having a scan in the next few weeks so hopefully will feel better. When can you usually start to see bub in the scan?
-
I have no idea - as I said I had my first scan pretty late on so they were already half formed by then! I' sure anybody else will be more help than me :)
-
SL - i had two early scans - at 5.5 and 8.5 weeks - both internal as it was the only way to get a good image. didn't see bub clearly on external scan until 12w-ish
it's not unusual to not feel pg - everyone is different in how they respond to the hormones - some of us get horrific nausea, some get horrible up-chucking - and the lucky ones get nothing major!
-
probably best to wait till after 7 weeks for a scan as you are more likely to see the heartbeat by then. i had a scan at 6w3d and all they could see was the sac. but all sonographers have different skill levels...
i didnt feel any different till about 8.5 weeks and it was a relief to start feeling sick. some people feel so normal they dont even realize they are pg.
-
Like the other girls have said, everyone and every pregnancy is different. I'm almost 31 weeks, and I still don't feel pregnant! My belly isn't very big (most strangers probably wouldn't realise I'm pg). If it wasn't for my little bub moving around, I'd almost think I wasn't pregnant!
-
Im 15 wks pg with #4 and some mornings i wake up and my tummy is so flat i wonder what the heck is going on....i have had 2 scans so far but i still feel like im making the whole thing up LOL.......
And for what its worth, besides being terribly tired, i wasnt sick or nauseas at all during this pregnancy......good luck with your scan !

hi there i have just tested today as my hubbie and I have been trying for #2 and I have been feeling very off this week and wondered so did the test even though i told myself i wouldnt until after my period due datw which is in 2 days time but did and got a very pale line on 2 seperate tests so looks like we have another one on the way although im a bit concered as I am feeling so yuck already and I was so ill with our first until the day I had her hope it doesnt happen like that again, just goes to show how different everyone is.
-
congrats krittle...
serenity- I didnt feel sick until like week 7 or 8 with my 2nd all the was until about 18-ish weeks then I was pretty good but came back at the end. I wouldnt worry too much right now about not feeling pregnant yet cause you may be cursing it when you start to feel bub kicking the breath out of your lungs lol.
with my 1st I was sick witht hat hyperemis gravedium until I had her pretty much, and it happened from about 4ish weeks i was alot luckier with my 2nd.
oh- and as for the tum poking out! I know what you mean! with my 1st and second I got an instant bloating bump in the first few weeks of falling pregnant it was unreal! So I would say that is definitely an early sympton of pregnancy :) I hope you keep feeling well, cause theres nothing like spending all day hugging the toilet bowl! haha... good luck with it hun! :)

I feel like i could have written this post because that's how I feel sometimes ? I know I am PG but I get scared because apart from the odd little pain in my lower abdomen and feeling a little more tired I don't feel like I'm PG. My tummy is allways bloated and sticking out  so that's not really anything to go by ? Wait for the scan darl, I'm sure you'll be just fine. It's different for everyone.

I didnt start to feel sick until week 9 and I still am:doh:
-
I'm 7 weeks with twins, and feel great ... we saw 2 heart beats yesterday, still in shock a little :)
I feel great today though .... you could one of those lucky ones who get no morning sickness or tiredness .. goodluck!

Hello everyone.
I had a natural FET on the 30th November and got a BFP on the 15th. Making me 5 weeks pregnant today. With my first two pregnancies everyone knew straight away. My first baby was a surprise at 19 and my second miracle happened after trying for three years and then turning to IUI and finally IVF. I felt blessed that it worked the first time and I was able to freeze 9 eggs.
I am worried this time and my husband wants to wait until we are at 12 weeks. I really want to tell everyone!! I am not sure if I have morning sickness yet as this week I have had a chest infection which has knocked me for six. With my son a virtually got it straight away and it stopped around week 12.
My hcg level on 15/12 was 1080 and on 19/12 was 3603. I wish a got more blood request forms so I could go again after Christmas day.
My next BT is not till the 05/01 with my 7 week scan.
I have already book my Nuchal Transperancy Scan.

I am glad to read this thread.
I don't have many symptoms at all either...my boobs aren't very sore and I don't feel sick. I bit tired and lightheaded sometimes but that's about it
-
I didn't feel sick with DS at all. When I had the scan and saw him wriggling about in there, I was thinking - "Oh, there is actually one in there."
This time around I am so sick that I am sure there is one in there. Every pg is different!!
I have a scan next Thursday, so I'll get to see bubs for the first time.

I was sick for the first 3 months with my first 2 pregnacies. Now with my 3rd I was wishing for m/s so I felt pregnant. Well I finally got it at 7 weeks, had a trip to the hospital it was so bad and then it was gone by 9 weeks. I am now 11 weeks and have just about convinced myself something is wrong because I have no symptoms. Hanging out for scan next Friday (16th).
Like others have said - every pregnancy is different, just take it 1 day at a time
-
serenitylee - lucky you i was like that with my 1st just a little more tired and bb got bigger imediatly so u r very lucky..
im dreading when i start getin ms....
all the best

I feel a bit more at ease after reading these posts, but like others Im feeling quite nervous at not having any 'big' symptoms. I'm just 6 weeks and this is my 1st pregnancy, so I don't have anything to go by. Apart from having some pulling, twitching sensations, and looking a teeny bit rounder, I feel great. I cant believe Im stressed becauseI dont have any nausea, but I feel so nervous that Im not actually pregnant. I went to the doctor last week upon doing two home tests, he just took my blood pressure and said to come back for a scan in 5 weeks! That seems like such a long time away.. What if theres nothing to see in the scan?
-
lam - it's amazing how stressful it is not to feel sick, hey? i was exactly the same way and had worked myself into a state of panic by the time my 12 week scan came around - it'd been 8 weeks since my HPTs and BT to confirm i was PG and it felt like an eternity! i felt quite emotional when we actually had the scan & seeing that everything was alright. i hope you get just a teeny bit of nausea to put your mind at ease :p seriously though, i think the really bad tiredness kicked in for me at about 7 weeks so you might still have symptoms to come! and congrats on your PG - hope you have a very happy & healthy PG :)
-
I had no morning sickness either (in a way I felt cheated), but I did feel "off" iykwim. the "off" feeling disappeared at 10wks, which according to my dr was early, so I had a scan and I could see baby and there was a heartbeat. Dh said he looked like a jellybean!
-
Thanks Sloane... I feel a bit more at ease after you message. I definately feel different, so I s'pose thats a symptom. My twin sister didnt have morning sickness eitherI guess I just need to be patient! I wonder if most peoples doctors do a blood test - as mine didnt. My hubbie and I are trying not to tell anyone till 3 months. It is so hard, its only been a week!
-
Hi I'm new here and soooooo glad I found this thread!
I'm 10 weeks tomorrow (this is my first) and have enjoyed the lack of morning sickness but what concerns me is my sore aching boobs have suddenly stopped aching - is this just cos they've finished their growth spurt for now or should I be worried? Apart from the fatigue (which has stared to get better in the last week anyway) this has been my only reassurance that I'm actually pregnant! Can't wait for the 12 week scan!
Did anyone else's boobs suddenly stop being sore?
-
I'm 15 and still no morning sickness. I occasionally feel a bit 'off' in which i will just go get a drink of water and some fresh air and i usually feel fine again. But i still dont really feel pregnant other than needing to pee alot hehe.
Goodluck everyone! I cant believe how fast time is going!
-
Hiya,
I felt really sick from about 5 1/2 weeks with incredibly sore boobys and thought my god how will I cope with this and then for 4 days the sickness stopped like a tap being turned off and of course I started to panic then I started to spot and thought well it's all over. I have had a scan and everything is fine and the sickness is back but not so bad as it was initially.
With 2 of my previous pregnancies I had next to no MS at all, which have resulted in a successful birth and a twin miscarriage and 1 with all day sickness which resulted in my DD so in my experience morning sickness is very random.
So I would just enjoy a sickness free pregnancy and try not to worry as in my experience it has no bearing on the health or wellbeing of the baby only on you and how much you enjoy your pregnancy.
All the best girls
Cheers Missy

I was exactly the same,i had sore boobs but no morning sickness my whole pregnancy,i remember saying to a friend at work that i was worried as my sore boobs went away and she said they dont stay sore forever and she was right, there not always sore now, sometimes sore sometimes real hot,but i didnt feel pregnant either i had no changes at all!
-
these responses are encouraging! I had my first scan today and saw the heartbeat! yay....
-
I don't even have sore boobs  If it wasn't for having my scan on Monday and actually finding out that i was 15 weeks not 12!! :o That i would have been questioning if i was really pregnant or not. But i was over joyed at seeing my baby and i could see everything. Was amazing!
-
serenitylee- wonderful news. Like you, this time round my boobs arent really sore (last time they were really sore)...
-
We are both very lucky  The only thing I am not enjoying is the size my boobs have grown and going for my nightly jog has not been much fun lately! I should really invest in the best support bra that is out there!

No symptoms
I am 6 weeks pregnant and i don't really have any major symptoms either. But from reading other posts, it seems that there is still plenty of time to feel sick - not that i want to!!
The small things i am noticing are that i am fitting better into my bras!
Also my tummy is more bloated at the end of the day. Last week i had terrible cramps in my tummy and now i get them in my back sometimes...anyone else had this?
