will it ease up or....
I am still getting crampings and tightenings and wanna know will the ease up or is it the start of this journey to bubs coming!?
I keep getting a discharge that is at times thick and at other watery, the crampings are so bad that i feel like i'm getting my period, my tummy is getting tight on and off and it is lasting about 30secs to over a min!
What the hell should i do!?!?!
-
Go for a walk - I found walking around the house eased off the cramps.
How far apart are these contractions? I found this type of practice contractions started around 37w like this and I wasn't happy to have them for 5 weeks!
The discharge could well be the start of the mucus plug going, but it's normal to have extra mucus in pregnancy.
If the cramps don't stop, get worse, or if you're worried then can you ring your midwife and ask her advice?
-
I'd just call the hospital hun... have you been timing them?
Just give them a call... they might be able to put your mind at ease if they think nothing is happening hun.
-
I'm just worried as i only got out of hospital 10 days ago now!
ATM they are about 10 mins apart!
-
take a couple of panadol and take a warm shower and if that doesn't make them go, them I would be calling your mw just to double check. And what have you been doing today too? sometimes if I had a huge day of doing things I would pay for it later on.
-
had a boring day! brought some nappies and did nothing!
I wish i knew how to check my cervix!
-
Checking your cx isn't really helpful unless you know what you're feeling kwim? plus if anything is going on ( which I really hope it isn't) the less that gets put up there the better.
-
I'm sick of getting these cramps!
I get hit with them and I just wanna cry!
Why won't my body make up it's mind???
-
I was just coming back in to suggest Panadol too  I agree with Trillian hun... take a nice warm shower.
I hope it all settles down hun
-
I'm worried about you hon - I'd go back to the hospital otherwise you might make it worse with stressing ya know?
:comfort:
-
Thanks Mel
I can see it now though! I'll go to the hospital sit around for hours then be re admitted! only thing is i don't wanna drag the kids an d DF out at this time and I don't wanna go to the hospital by my self!
-
I wish I was there to help you out!!!!!
-
Is there a family member or a friend that can come over and mind the kids hun?
-
It really could just be painful BHs. But for peace of mind do go and get checked hun. You'll feel better for it. Is there anyone who could take you?
-
DF gets home from work in about 1 hr so I will talk to him about it when he gets home!
I don't wanna spend more time in the hospital!
I'm gonna go to bed now and rest we will see how it goes until then!
night chickens "talk" to you all in the morning!
-
Hope you get a good sleep hun. Thinking of you *mwa*
-
Wishing you a restful night hun.
-
How did you go last night? It could be that you have an Irritable Uterus - very painful and annoying to have. A baby buddy of mine suffered terribly with it during her first pg and had several hospital admissions where they thought it was all on for real. She is getting again now with her second pg too. If it is that, unfortunately there is nothing you can do to stop it.
-
I had a really broken sleep!
Now i have the cleaning bug!
The doctors didn't mention anything about an irritable uterus when I was in the hospital last time!
-
ooh ooh if you have a cleaning bug - come up here!!! haha!!!!
I'm happy you made it through the night lovey...
-
um.... sorry Mel ain't gonna happen!! My house is messy enough to last me a while!
I just wanna cry it's so annoying!
-
:comfort: I'm sure it is... you are very strong for holding up the way you have been.
Not much longer hon just hang in there and keep cookin that bub!!
-
I am a tiny bit worried as I've been losing weight!
I was about 87kgs when we fell pg and now I'm 82kgs, I eat like you wouldn't believe and still aint gainin!
I was told today that even though I should be gaining I look great with the amount I've lost!
Should I call the doctors?
-
I dunno.... I've always gained 20 odd kgs during my pregnancies.. lol...
-
Do they weigh you at your appointments Mel?
They don't at mine.
I have no idea about weight gain. I'm really no help am I.
Big  hope it gets better for you soon and the pains ease up.
-
SJ - They don't weigh me either I weigh myself at home! Everyone I have spoken to in the last few days has said how much weight I've lost
Pains have now intensified in my back! I just wanna scream
-
Is hubby coming home soon?
-
Simon finishes work anywhere between 4 and 6!
Pains are still coming and going now!
-
This baby has to be the most beautiful, most perfect baby in the world when he eventually comes out for putting you through this
-
Hey Melanie
Sorry I don't have a lot of advice as I am very inexperienced with this stuff but wanted to give you squisshy . Hope things settle down soon. Maybe if it gets worse call/go to hospital! Even though I know you really dont want to
