Hey mbl,
I was about 15w when I got a bump I could see, but for others I really didn't start popping out till about 19-20w. If it's your first baby it's not really till a little later that you start to show.
Soon you'll have the nice little baby bump they makes it so much more real.
With DD1 I 'popped' at 17 weeks, with DD2 I was 14 weeks and with DD3 I was about 10 weeks or less.
I depends who you ask.
I noticed i'd popped at 18 weeks with this bub, was earlier with DS.
According to my family Im huge and must be expecting triplets, yet this morning at the kinder orientaiton, i waled in, it was standing room only, then another woman (who i found out was 20 weeks pg, Im 26w) walked in and people leapt up to offer her their chair. Maybe I just look fat :(
i've noticed some decent expansion in the last couple of weeks  pants had been getting tighter from about 13 weeks but it's only recently that i've really noticed some changes.
Don't stress MyBabyLove - if this is your first, it is really common not to show for awhile, because your stomach muscles are unstretched and great at holding everything in place. I remember with my first I didn't really pop til after 20 weeks. Everyone is different some people get a bump really early, others really late. Especially if you're tall.
This is my first and didn't show till around 19 weeks, although I was carrying a bit due to AC treatment, well that's my excuse anyway ;)
This is my first and Im 18 wks and have a litle bump, I think it depends what I wear. I was wearing a summer dress and a friend made a comment that I had popped out! When I wear tracksuit pants and t.shirt, I don't think it is as noticeable.
I starting noticing clothes getting too tight around my waist (couldn't do them up) at about 8 wks though.
Don't worry, it will happen. Or at least I keep telling myself that! I now have a bump that I can notice, even if I'm wearing "normal" clothes, and after dinner it's always slightly bigger! But in my normal work clothes, wearing a shirt that isn't 'firm fitting' the average person wouldn't be able to tell, can only see I have a bump if I'm wearing a shirt that isn't loose..even then it probably doesn't look like a baby bump at all! Keep telling myself that I will start to grow out...soon...lol
im almost 27 weeks and most people still dont think im preg, and those that do notice think that im about 3 or 4 months, not 6! i didnt start to show at all until 20 weeks but i did lose close to 5kgs with morning sickness, ive only just got back up to my pre pg weight. i still wear my size 10 pants just with the button undone :)
I am 19wks with my second and somedays i look preg and somedays i don't. My belly does tend to look a lot bigger at night. I find if i wear a preg top i look preg, if i wear a normal top i look like i ate too much lunch but not necessarily preg.
With my 1st my I had a growth spurt from 20-26 weeks. At 20wks it was still maybe she is maybe she isn't, but by the time i got to 26weeks it was like WHOA she's so preg.
That being said some people were suprised to find out i was preg/how far a long i was the weekend before i gave birth & i was 34 weeks (or maybe they were just being really polite:D)
I'm jealous of all those who popped out ;) I couldn't do up my pants from about 5 or 6 weeks & have just got slowly bigger as time as gone on. I feel like I've missed out
25 weeks here and not looking pregnant. Just fat...but I was overweight to start with so no one thinks I'm pregnant. Haven't put on any weight yet either but am wearing maternity tops and pants just for the extra length in the torso (to go over my baby belly/flab) mainly.
I finally had to stop wearing my jeans at 21 weeks because it was uncomfortable to have the button digging into my uterus.
Different strokes for different folks I guess...I have heard that a first pregnancy doesn't show as much as a second....is this true?
With DD I was about 16wks when it was obvious to strnagers I was pregnant.
This time around I would say it's obvious now (I am 13wks).
with ds- 24 weeks
with DD ( now) just look fat- unless you know i am prego
Im 15 weeks today and I just look fat. From the outside it looks like I am just gaining weight..my belly is pointing out but not in a 'pregnant' way IYKWIM. that probably sounds really weird
With my DS, I didn't really have a bump until about 20 weeks. This time I'm starting to get one now, people I know can tell but to strangers, I just look fat.
Well i'm either showing, or i'm getting slightly fatter at the bottom of my tummy and out the front. One of the two...
I have put on two kilos in the past few weeks (after losing five in the first trimester) so for all i know, it could just be fat. Haha
Finally my bump is starting to show!! It's very exciting, although I feel a bit self-conscious at work like everyone is looking at it, although it's not huge and in the tops I wear to work which are naturally fairly loose anyway I don't think it would be that noticeable anyway, and there are quite a few pregnant women in our office at the moment who are further along than I am, but I haven't told anyone except my immediate co-workers and my supervisor, so I guess I feel a bit weird about it... But if I put on just normal everyday "around the house" clothes, yep you can tell I have a bump!
I don't really have a bump either. My normal jeans/ work pants are uncomfortable and don't do up anymore but because I was fairly thin to begin with, I just look like my belly sticks out a little bit. A lot of people have that naturally, so to strangers I don't look pregnant.
One person (who knew how I looked before I was pregnant) noticed my belly and figured it out, but to most pople it is not obvious yet. I figure that the longer it stays small, the longer I can keep cycling, so I am taking it as a positive.
I'm just over 15 weeks and when ppl find out they say i must be having twins
So yeah, I've popped ;)
Leesa - same! "Are you sure there arn't 2 in there???" or "Are you really sure of your dates???"
I just look fattter.......... like I've eaten too much fairy floss recently.
I didn't look pg with DS either - just fat.
mmmmmmmmmm..................... fairy floss..........................
Im still not really showing and am 17 weeks today!
Maybe i will pop at 20 weeks??
My mum didnt show early with her pregnancys either..
I've only really popped in the last week and I'm almost 20 weeks. Before that it was more of a 'beer belly' or what looked like too much Christmas cheer!! And as I've always had a relatively flat tummy, I noticed tops more than pants fit me too snugly initially or they just weren't long enough! It does depend on what I wear & how I'm sitting/standing as to how obvious, but I have noticed a few enquiring looks from people too polite to ask, particularly in the last week!
This is my first as well, and everyone keeps telling me you usually show later with your first.
Enjoy this time everyone!
Baby belly's are beautiful! :)
Debbee, I'm a bit the same (welcome to BB too!), I can see my tummy poking out through my "weekend" clothes, and a tiny bit with my work clothes, must be enough for some people to notice though as I've had a couple of people recently ask me if I am pg (kinda glad I can say "yes", otherwise I think I would be a bit offended! They haven't exactly said I'm fat..but yeah...I'm sure ykwim).
But, apart from the little bump I have now, I don't seem to be growing anymore, although I have a couple of skirts I wear to work that I can't really fit into now because the zip only does up halfway or not really at all, I'm still wearing my normal clothes- tops and pants/skirts to work, and my bump doesn't seem to be getting any bigger! I love my little bump and am almost willing it to start growing some more! But I'm starting to wonder if it's going to....
I'm annoyed cause i was overweight to begin with, and even though i'm sure i'm showing a bit, i think i'm carrying a bit low so it looks a bit like a fat gut.
Lucky me, lol
im just fat.. not showing at all but im still smaller then i was at conception as i suffered horrible ms and lost alot of weight.
I am sure you ladies are gorgeous and I bet you do look pregnant...
I'm overweight - deathly according to the OB I saw today - yet I do look pregnant now...

ive had people ask how far and when i say half way they tell me i look no different. you can only see my bump when i lie down
Hiya,
I'm 14 weeks and look like I did when I was 5 months during my last pregnancies, I feel huge. I'm a size 10 so I guess any extra weight that I put on shows but people have been commenting since I was 12 weeks. I guess my tummy muscles arn't as good as they were 11 and 8 years ago surprise surprise.
Cheers Missy
Leesa & MissBec - Ditto. I popped big time. If I had a dollar for every time someone has said "Could be twins".
No. There is absolutely no precident for twins. Baby just likes sitting really far forward when I am up and walking about. Soon as I lay down it sinks back in and the bump is reletively normal sized for how far along I am.
Yep I get the twins comment too
Popped out at 6 weeks with 1st pg and earlier with this one. Now everyone reckons I look about 6 months pg! Holy Sheet, imagine how big tummy WILL be at 6months :)
