Omg flatulence!!!
Oh my god girls I just cannot stop fluffing haha... :tmi:
It is so bad that at work I have to hold them in and by the end of the day have such a bad stomach ache. I go to the loo, have a wee, rub my belly, release what I can and by the time I get back to my desk and sit down I could do more but have to hold them in. I am sure a little bit leaked out today just as my boss came and sat down next to me  I was thinking oh my god I can smell something, I think that was me and he can smell it :hide:
So lucky I only work 2 week days and Saturdays there is mainly me on my own so I can fluff away. DH says there is something wrong with me ha ha ha DD says heehee Mummy's bottom
Honestly this is not normal!
-
oh dear ... i'm dreading pregnancy #2 as Im fluffing enuf without being preggers!
-
I have noticed this just recently in my pregnancy. I have been gettign pains in my tummy, thinking that it might be labour starting, but NO! It just turns out I have wind and need to do a "fluff"!
-
 thankyou for the giggle.
There is nothing worse than when you are at work and need to do a 'pop' (as I say to DD). That is something I do not miss.
-
Ahhh don'tcha love it!!!
I found that I "fluffed" more when I was on a different brand of pregnancy vitamins - got the worst gut aches from all the wind.. then I switched to Elevit and it went away.
Try not to gas yourself lovey... lol
-
Hey maybe that is it!! Right next bottle, I am changing brands!! :)
-
 Thank goodness my desk is away from everyone elses...
-
Arimeh I think you are right. Didnt take multis this morning and it was a fairly fluff free day. Might start taking them late in the day me thinks!! :)
-
Yeah I took mine late in the day and got woken up at night with massive cramps... LOL.. so I don't know what was worse... ;)
-
.... I'm REALLY REALLY glad it's not just me.
I walk around alot for my job and I accidently drop them while walking past patrons/customers and I just go red in the face!
-
 mine were so loud they outdid DP's!
but they seemed to get better around the start of the 2nd tri.
-
I am suffering from the fluffs... and the burps... lots of air going on in this body at the moment!
-
Sorry to thread crash .... You girls are funny !
Brings an interesting question to mind ?
Do you "fluff" in front of your dp/dh? I cant do it ... I would love to, but I cant !!!
He has NO shame .. and I have glen 20 by the bed to spray near his bum he is so bad
-
At the moment I have been fluffing and burping in front of DP... prior to pregnancy I would either go into the bathroom or another room or well away from him but at the moment I can't help when it happens so if he is in the room I just say "oh excuse me" or "oh my pardon me"
We've been together just over 9 years and he thinks it is hilarious that this is really the first time I have let air escape in front of him... I am dreading how much air will escape or other embarrassing moments throughout the pregnancy... and labour
-
LOL ..
and Miss TK1999, I am not sure if we have crossed threads to congratulate you on your wonderful news
-
BUT!!!! There is no better feeling than when you get home and can just let it all go.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH......... ....................
Nothing worse than being at work and needing to hold it in. Consider it a PC exercise or something.
-
I completely stopped fluffing for the first few months, right now is another story though. I fluff all the time, and they smell really bad. Dp says i should get a trophy for some of the ones i pop off with. Haha
-
This thread is hilarious
DH & I call them toots & I have had the tootiest day ever  Lucky I'm not shy about doing that around DH or I'd be forever running & hiding from him!!
I think it gets worse the further along you go because I'm 15 weeks now & it's not abating
-
LOL if it gets worse then I am in for some trouble... that is one thing about this pg - it has made me less shy about these things in front of DP (and we've been together for over nine years)
He thinks it is hilarious
-
Netty,
I am in the same boat as you (and everyone else it seems!!! :D) - I am taking "De-Gas" which the doctor said is perfectlys safe - just alleviates the pain from the wind. I was waking up at night with terrible wind pains.
All the best,
Lily

Oh Dear,
I am suffering atm. No pain, just lots of air. I do not remember having this issue with my other pregnancies and i have only just POAS a few days ago.
I hope it doesnt stay like this !
-
OMG, this thread is hilarious!!! I feel so relieved (pardon the pun!) to be reading this as I'm just a walking gas station at the moment!!!
I've always had a bit of a wind issue due to IBS so DH and I became 'fart friendly' quite early in the relationship, LOL. I'm grateful for that now cause I'm tooting like you wouldn't believe, it's terrible! I'm not much of a burper either, that was my sister's forte, so I'm suffering terribly when the wind just can't escape. I invested in De Gas tablets today and a huge tub of Metamucil so hopefully I can ease some of the pain going forward. Today is a very painful one and I would give anything for a really good, well, you know ;)
-
OMG...so pleased I found this thread! I was in such pain all arvo...then I did the most ENORMOUS fart and felt so much better. The pain has been coming and going and the farting has been non-stop!!!
What is de-gas and where do I get it!
Lucky I have always let loose in front of DH and he doesn't hold back either! Hope it settles at school tomorrow...tho may be a good punishment for those in detention LOL!
-
Haha... when I am having a particular 'windy' night at home, DH tells me I need to see the Dr.
DD giggles when she or I pass wind and says 'ooo heehee bottoms' cracks me up
-
I used to be very shy & leave the room to pass wind so DH wouldn't hear....but there's just no chance of that now! Actually DH has been the same lately & I said to him that I thought it was just a pregnancy thing & he said nope - unless it's sympathy gas!!
He sometimes gets nausea the same time as me, so who knows!
-
my partner and i made a fart amnesty when i was early into my first pg, i couldn't stop! and they were so loud and putrid. now he thinks it's great cause he can fart all the time and i can't say anything. needless to say, i also don't bother holding back anymore, better out than in! xavi thinks farting is sooo funny, he smacks whover did it on the bottom and says POO! and laughs hysterically.
-
ROFL - very funny thread.
One of my very few ladylike ways is that I REFUSED to fart in front of DP - I didn't do it until we were together at least a year and then it was just because he MADE me (after that i still didn't do it in front of him)... until I got preg that is - i cannot 'hold it' anymore and as bubs gets bigger it's just that much harder.
Had a midwife appt today and i was soooo lucky (or they were) that i didn't let rip while they were measuring me/ feeling bubs position
Also ... DP helped me with some maintenance 'down there' as cannot see 'it'... ready for birth and soooo badly needed to then ... had to make excuse to go to toilet so the worst wouldn't happen.

Wow so glad I found this I thought it was just me  this is #4 pregnancy for me and I have never had it before, I am 11 weeks now and it seems to have stopped but for a while there I was deadly, the poor dog got blamed a lot, I am really shy about that, not that anyone else around here is I call DH Bugle Bum so that might give you some idea what I am talking about and youngest thinks it is hilarious when daddy pops. I was taking a different vitamin so maybe that was it.
