I've had an incredibly sore back and nausea on and off all day and now I have a very thick white discharge with clear globby bits in there....
Would this be classed as a "show" even though it's not bloody?
I feel really really average ......
TIA all

Sounds like it could be Dee. Mine wasn't bloody at first either. Mine was of a thick jelly-like consistancy, but I know it's different for everyone.
Good luck, I hope this is it and I hope that fire stays away from your hossie :)
Thanks heaps trish ..... me too :(
It sounds like it to me.
I think your baby will be here soon
Hey Alan ,
Thanks for posting ..... I wasn't sure as I haven't had any tummy cramps just really deep backpain and feeling queasy....
And the little guy was very active up until about 4ish....
Don't want to get DF all excited just for it to stop IYKWIM :)
woohooo!! I'm waiting!!!
Hope you have someone making your birth announcement!!
Good luck babe!
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Whats Oscar doing?
A gf of mine had similar symptoms to you. She thought she had food poisoning after coming home from a restaurant and feeling nausea and also had a dull back ache. She ended up in full labour the next day and had her baby in the evening the day after the nausea.
I hope your little one comes out soon for you. Can't wait to hear your birth announcement!
Thanks Ali....good to know I am probably not imagining it :)
Luce.... he's beside me still subjecting me to his stinky bum....LOL
Mel.... I dare say the fearless Lulu will let you know whats happening .... I'm trusting her with my first baby ....LOL
Hi DoubleDee
These are all signs that labour is about to start. however it could still be a few days, so I can understand you not wanting to get DF excited yet:

My mum thought she'd eaten something bad when pg with me, she was in the hospital about to be induced (pre-eclampsia) and she told them she was feeling nauseous. They checked her out and she was in labour and 5cm dilated! I wish my labours had been that easy .
Rest up now though, its gonna happen soon..
They all sound like very promising signs that labour will be starting soon!!! As Alan said, it could still be days, but at least its something finally happening!!!!
Very excited for you & wishing you all the best. Hope to be reading a BA from you soon :)
Thanks girls and the wonderful Alan.....
Now I just need to chill out and stop being so neurotic.....seriously what are the chances of my hospital burning down *Laughs nervously*
sounds like things are starting to get moving for you, try and rest up but also do some walking or similar to helpo things along, can't wait to hear what you're gorgeous bundle is, wishing you the labour and birth you wish for.

It'd be a really COOL story to tell though
