WHATS UR FAV MCN AND WHY?
:D
I have a few fav's for different reasons!
Beetlebums because they are awesomely made by a WAHM and work so well!
Auriels for the same reason as Beetlebums!
Itti Bitti d'lish as they are cute, trim, work wonderfully and are fast drying.
Baby Beehinds Bamboo fitteds because they are absorbant enough for night nappy and last forever! Ruby wears the same ones I bought for Caleb!
Eek too hard too hard.. next question!!!!
(I have farrrr to many favourites!!)
My "workhorse" nappy is a a fitted - babybeehinds, either bamboo or hemp, it doesn't matter. I jazz them up with different covers.
Pip loves the starbumz nappies, and they fit him well and are very thirsty.
Flannel fings do great fitteds, and have the "green" quotient going for them.
Berry Plush are gorgeous and easy to fit & clean & dry - and when the shell's clean it makes a great cover for fitteds. (I started with BP and still love them!)
Other "workhorse" nappies are greenkids anytimes or minkytimes, they are very easy & dry quick & are quite trim.
myn is baby beehind magicals simple for even hubbie to use to stuffing around no need for covers on top. The look like a disposable yet arnt so very convenient for us. there just plain fab, we also own a the baby behind fitted one size fits all bamboo ones but arnt finding them no where near as great as the magicals. I LOVE my magicals!!! wish i had diff colors tho only have orange and pink.
Ittis are basically all I use these days. I love a trim nappy, and they work well for us too.
Bling...
obviously ;)
Why, because they are super cute and Ashton gets lots of compliments. The best way to attract people to the world of MCN I thinks :)
I love my ittis too cause they are trim. I recently just got a happy heiny in a block colour and so far its my fav for ds when he has his long afternoon naps, its a pocket too so dries really quick
wow ladies, thanks for the replys, so far i have cushie tushie courtures and i love them, very keen to try other brands,i definatly have been converted :D
Raven and I have similar taste in nappies... My favourites are:
- Auriels - gorgeously and impeccably WAHM made, fit beautifully, look fantastic and are really soft and squishy. Super absorbent too. Hard to get though.
- Beetlebums - as above, plus they are probably the best trim fitting, narrow crotch sized pockets out there.
- GreenKids - best Aussie made OSFM pockets, they look good, versatile, bomb-proof.
- Cute Tooshies - lovely soft bamboo velour side snapping fitteds.
- Sugarpeas wool covers - good for day or night, good rise side snapping covers
- Maz's fleece covers - they do the job without fail, and look really funky
I have only recently been converted have been using terry flats and Big W cover for 9-10 months with 1 sposie at night and have a serious addiction...
I started by switching the Big W cover then got into the AIO/2's and pockets
I have a cushie- OMG LOVE it and so does DD- looking for more right now
Greenkids- LOVE THEM and have more coming
a DaddleDoo (WAHNaps) Fantastic- have another coming
A Maz-alicious Night Nap- is so cute and absorbent... (would love more Maz stuff)
Cos i have just started looking at many different newones to try... its certainly is an addiction along with the added babylegs/hugalugs... lol.
for DD1 i loved blueberry nappies on her (toilet training so doesnt wear nappies)
for DD2 so far loving kissaluvs and motherease covers great fit
My fav nappies are Wild Child and Blueberry Pockets.
Fav cover is Maz's covers. They are by far the best i have used. Not once had a leak in them.
My fav are ittis. Trim and easy to use. I prefer the snap ones because I can get 2 wears out of the cover. I just replace the inserts for a prefold
sugar shots, dragonfly magik, genessa forge
they are all just awesome!!
they all have their own on line stores - very hard to get but if you do you will understand why i love them!!
just google the names hun, if you have trouble PM me :)
thanx, ill have a google after t !:D
Blueberry pockets, Happy Heinys. Contrary to what everyone else experiences, I actually really like the Haute pockets. These 3 types I find easy to use (with the velcro DH and grandparents can use them too!) and they are pretty colours.
I'll probably get shot for this, but I really dont like Bumgenius. I think its my least favourite. The velcro tabs are absolute rubbish(turned to trash after just a few washes), the laundray tabs dont stick down, and the inside of the nappy that goes against babys bum is horrendous and almost impossible to clean. My experience though, so maybe they work great for other people.
No, I'd agree with you on BumGs Karina! I have stacks of them, and admittedly they work well as a workhorse, and are good under clothes, and have been versatile from birth to now (had to replace the elastic though because it died really quickly), but they look like crud, they have aged really badly compared to most of my other nappies. They are high up on the list of things that I wouldn't buy again (Tots Bots are the other).
Suse, LOL so many people talk about how great the BumG are but I dont see the fuss. Yours sound like mine.. 'cept I dont have heaps of them so I dont feel so bad about wasting the money on them! They looked nice to start with but certainly didnt age well at all, and although the elastic is mostly ok still, the velcro tabs look like rubbish and dont stick as well as they used to and the inside looks horrendous. Its not fleece, its something else and its strange. After all the rave about them, they werent as nice as I had thought they'd be.
My Hautes have been in rotation for ages and they are still looking great!
For the Look-
Itti , Cherub's Kiss- Berry Plush
However- I am a MASSIVE fan of Pockets- I prefer them alot more than AIO
So I am in love with Haute & Bumgenius.
They're my faves :)
