Brother XL 2620 sewing machine

i have a brother and find it good
i do stuff up a bit tho... so have tried some more expensive cotton to see if this helps :D

How exciting! It is so addictive! I find the necessities to be a pair of tweezers- makes threading much easier, some little scissor snips for cutting thread - need to be nice and sharp!, oil to keep your machine in tip top shape, Gutermann thread is great - a bit more expensive but worth it. Happy sewing!

I get guterman thread, it's pretty tough! I need one of those quick unpick thingies and a white pencil for marking fabric...

argh im gonna cry... I moved to America and bought the same exact machine over here before i left for the same price... now im back to have my first bubba and I brought my machine home with me as I was here for 4 months and could make stuff!! Anyways all ready to sit down and sew and the machine calibration is all out of whack.... my poor machine and now I missed out on this sale I have to get a new one.. I need another brother.. any one with any ideas or help would be great I loved my machine :(

Maybe take it to a repairer???

I called one up and he said to look at it 85 dollars straight away... I think its time for a new one anyways as its been bashed about by removalists too many times unfortunately. Just wondering if anyone has seen them on sale all ive seen is this on

I just picked up my layby - a Brother XL 2620. Was so happy to find this thread and see that you all love it! Now must figure out how to use it!
