DS's flanny PJ's are waiting, ready to be sewn together. I'm a bit scared because this is the first time I'll be sewing clothing! LOL. Going to have a crack at it tonight once the kids are in bed.
So some progress but alot to do before end of April!:
I think I'm going to have to adjust my challenge to 'do something - anything - this weekend' ;)
So... hoping to add borders to two squares tomorrow. Surely I can do that? :lol:
I now have the fabric from my mum to make the other two snakes, I don't like the pattern very much, but they won't be very easily seen so I think I can put up with it :lol:
I do have a confession to make though...I started cutting out fabric to make some door stops..so guess I better add that to my list as well :redface:
I've put the elastic into one nappy... that is a start right?
I'll try to get the others finished today. Fred is starting to grow out of her mediums already so I need to get these finished or they will be too small for her!
Yesterday I started stitching the pyjamas and it took me more time figuring out the instructions and working out my sewing machine than it did of actual sewing :lol: hoping to get more done today.
One down! Yay! I finished the appliqué on a top (which is a singlet so I hope I can wear it soon)
Next is the quilt for dd. It's my first quilt and is tiny- only wall hanging size. I have the machine all set up and just need to stitch the quilting lines and do the binding. Fingers crossed for some time tomorrow!
Going to have to put my WIP on hold for a while..long story but basically our landlord came today and took her kitchen table, so until we get a new table I have nowhere to put my sewing machine :( A little bit more notice would have been nice! Grrr

The memory quilt will have to wait til mum has time, because I need her patchwork expertise.
Yay! Finished the quilt! Phew I thought I would never get there!! I will try and get a photo asap meaning when my computer is fixed!

two more projects for me to do... better get moving as I still have a huge list of things to do for the baby before he/she arrives...:juggle:
I need a big kick up the bum! I haven't gotten anywhere.... but then I really haven't been procrastinating, just doing a whole heap of other things before bubs arrives!!

I'm still working on the PJ's! Got the collar sewn :dance: took me ages to figure that one out. Now I'm just trying to work out how to attach the sleeves.
I bought some fat quarters fabric online last week and it arrived today so I have all these ideas running through my head. I have to keep telling myself to finish the PJ's first before starting something else LOL

Eluned - I know what you mean about spending more time reading instructions - I had to wind a bobbin on my mini machine for first time on the weekend and took me twice as long to do that as any sewing had done.
Looks like you've got a few projects on the go there, wysiwyg! I have just the one and it's taking forever. I got one sleeve sewn on the other day. Not sure when I'll next get to do a bit more as this week is pretty full on with getting ready for DS's birthday party on the weekend. In saying that though, here I am sitting on BB when in fact I could be sewing LOL.
Im halfway there. Have completed 2 of the fitted sheets for the 'home coner' at Kinder, 2 more to go.
Its a hard act though balancing the sewing machine and the iMAC on the same desk..I cant wait til my horn cabinet finally gets put together..
Got a bit of sewing done last night. Have now sewn on both sleeves on the PJ top, now just need to to the hem, buttonholes and buttons. I've started on the PJ pants too, sewn up the leg seams, just have to do the waist and hems. Will have to pack up my machine and materials tomorrow as we are having the family over to celebrate DS's birthday. I have my stuff set up on the dining room table so I'll just have to make sure I get it out again after the party LOL...
I want to make a pincushion after this and some taggies.

I finally allowed myself to sit down and watch a movie today, which meant that I got some knitting done. Of course in my tired state tonight I have stuffed up and had to spend some considerable time deciphering where exactly I stuffed up, correct it and then work out where I was now up to again!! Nevermind... I'm proud of the significant progress I have made!
What are you knitting MummyTummy? I keep thinking I should pull out my needles and yarn but I don't want to get sidetracked. Got to finish my sewing projects first :)

I'm knitting a little jacket for this bub -the Sunday Brunch Jacket (you'll need to locate the pic - it is the third one down in the right hand column). When the baby is born I will also knit the stripey travel blanket, but I want to find out what gender first.
Then I have my crochet bed throw that I need to finish.... that one has been a WIP for years and years now!! But I am not so concerned about that one!!
