What books will you never read again. Not the ones you put down and forget because they are dreary but the ones that you couldn't put down but have such dreadful themes/endings that you don't want put yourself through it again.

    For me -
The boy in the striped pyjamas
We need to talk about Kevin (I will never watch the movie either *shudder*)
    The lovely bones

The middle book from the Call The Midwife series - tales of the Workhouse.

Hahaha, I love those posts. They're gentle ways of saying 'Dude, how hard is it to wiki something?! Jeez. Here, I'll even do it for you'

The Davinci Code and Angels and Demons...and I'm pretty sure there's another Dan Brown book in there somewhere, something about a code? Anyway, once I know the end I just get impatient to get there, so it's not enjoyable any more.

It's definitely something I wanna read, but I'll be honest with you, I don't think I can handle it right now, I'm screwed up enough as it is. Keep it for someone who'll be able to appreciate it right away. Don't we have a book club sendy out thing somewhere here?

    I don't re-read plays, I'd rather see them performed.

    I second The Lovely Bones.

Also any of those A Boy Called It series. Or any of the abused child real life stories that I've made the mistake of reading even once. Given my background I have no idea what I was thinking!

That "A boy called It" book was very upsetting, I would ditto not reading that again.

Have posted on the book swap discussion Keike, thanks D:
