I just read Twilight!!!! :dance:
Although being written for teenagers, and being an easy read so far is annoying, I had to read it all the way through really fast.... I couldn't put the damn thing down!!!:doh:
and I LOOOOOVE Edward..... ;)
Now I have to run out and grab the next ones when money permits.....
One of my fav quotes so far is ..."You are my life now" he answered simply.... *drool*
You can read Midnight Sun on her website. It is unfinished and unedited and she has stated that because of the invasion of her privacy with the leak that she probably won't finish it.
But she knew people would try to find the leaked copy anyway so she has published it in PDF format on her website. I haven't read it - as a writer I can understand how embaressed and devastated she would have been when this happened.

Amy I wasnt going to read it, then I bought the twilight speical eddition and just couldnt help myself! I have kinda forgotten it though so when it is finshed it will be better!

I read the first chapter in the special edition too and I have been tempted so many times to read the whole thing!! I did like how it gave readers a better description of Bella - and a look into Edward's broody mind. I really hope she does finish it and publish it one day.
OMG can I just say - WOW, Breaking Dawn is awesome :) Im about 3/4 of the way through and am trying really hard to drag it out cause I think I might cry when its done :lol: She really needs to write more, HP has 7 books so I think Twilight should too hehehe
I cried so much at the end of Breaking Dawn.
Without spoiling it - I have to say that I thought it ended so perfectly!!
I finished reading Eclipse for the second time yesterday and I'm onto Breaking Dawn again now. You'll feel sad when you finish Anna but then you can turn around and read them through again! They are SO much better the second time around!
I have to agree that they get better each time you read them. I also find that each time I read through the series I tend to like a different book the best. This time New Moon was a fave but before that it was Breaking Dawn
Has anyone read her other book? My inlaws are reading it atm and said its pretty good.
Maybe we should petition her to write more Twilight, like a Facebook dedication page or something.

I don't mind being outed as a Twilight nerd!! You should so set it up!! Although... I don't know where she would go from the end of the book - it did end really well. I would hate for it to be spoilt.
I haven't read her new book - I'm a little hesitant but I don't know why! Does this sound weird... I feel like I'm betraying Twilight by reading anything else of hers! Or anything else full stop! LOL :redface:

I watched the twilight movie for the second time the other day and i have to say OMG it really does get better the second time u watch it..... i loved it soooooooo much..... i loved watching it the first time aswell but second time was definitely the best :D.... I thought they dressed Rosalie fine... i didnt see anything wrong with it
I want there to be more books too.... i think the series can keep growing.... maybe not with bella as the main character......i would love to hear more of jacob and ............. (not sure how many people have finished reading but dont want to give anything away)
Anna are you talking about The Host? I started reading it but it was way to involved not as easy to read! I will pick it up again after maybe my 5 read of the saga :rofl:

ETA Nikki, I would like to see her write all the cullen families stories and then maybe a follow on for Jake!

oh yeah i remember reading the chapter at the back of the book from edwards perspective... i guess i skipped over the title 'midnight sun' cause i didnt put 2 and 2 together... or maybe just pregnancy brain! its bummer it was leaked.

But wow wow wow what an ending! I absolutely cannot wait for the movies now, providing they get a decent budget and do them justice (which shouldnt be far fetched considering how popular the first movie was!)
Definately think she left it open for more books, maybe something from Jacobs POV or even Renesmee's.
Would discuss it more but dont wanna spoil it for those on the earlier books :p
and i'm positive sometime in the next century the volturi will pop back in again.. :-)

I only really ever see this thread when I am scrolling through the main forums page, and have thought to myself, ''wow, Twilight appreciation, I guess some people must really like that time between night and day alot". Oooooooooer Ive been doing some googling and found out that not only is New Moon being released here a day earlier than the US (woot for time zones) on Nov 19th this year BUT that we will only have to wait til June '10 for Eclipse :dance:
Bad news, Breaking Dawn isnt scheduled for release until 2013 :doh:
And New Moon is being directed by someone new, the dude who made American Pie/Golden Compass/About a Boy. Hopefully it will be 100x better than Twilight.
And why didnt anyone clue me in that Rob Patterson played Cedric in Harry Potter!? I didnt even recognise him lol

I haven't read the books- sorry! My younger sister begged for me to go see the movie with her recently (she had already seen it twice). I have always been a fan of vampire movies and have read the original Dracula novel, but I thought Twilight was going to be very 'teenager-ish'. Luckily I was wrong- and I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. The mood and setting was more dark and somber than most 'teenager' movies so it was easier to take seriously.
And I have to admit, that Edward guy in the movie - he does something to ya- lol. Perfectly cast - what a handsome young man! And I'm glad Bella is a pretty girl-next-door type- if she had of been platinum blonde with a fake tan and big boobs I'd probably have walked out! Lol....
I have asked my sister to buy me the first book for my birthday.....:dance: Am I correct in assuming that the book is even more enjoyable than the movie??
