Fictional Woman by Tara Moss
The continuum concept
Written in my own heart's blood, Raising boys, and some romantic trash 😊
Second Life by S.J. Watson. Before this I read his first book Before I Go To Sleep, and loved it.
Looking for inspiration. Mostly reading freebies on ibooks. Some I read the whole series, some I don't even finish the book.
I try avoid purely romance stories, unless they have something else to the storyline. Not into fantasy.
Read Gone Girl a few weeks ago. Trippy. Just read a kind of autobiography about a young girl surviving the genocide under Hitler. It was a little all over the place, but interesting.
I've been getting into audiobooks lately.
Finished a bunch of Jane Austens - I think I've read or listened to all of hers now.
And started a weird romance / paranormal series by a lady called Dannika Dark. Not sure whether I like them yet ... It's werewolf / shifter centred, but the "world" is very misogynistic IMHO so not sure that I want to invest time into listening to it.
Also recently finished and LOVED "Talk Like TED" which is about public speaking and persuasive strategies.
I decided to start re reading the A song of ice & fire series again.
In preparation for when the next book is ever released ;)
Becoming Us : 8 steps to build a family that thrives.
Hoping it helps me and DP learn to make this whole family thing work better and feel happier.
Brian Blessed: Absolute Pandemonium.
Everyone read it. I laughed so hard. And wept too, but laughed so much more. Brian is a legend. Stormageddon was nearly called Brian, til we thought about his initials.
If you doubt me, just read these excerpts from the back page.
The fans began grabbing for my shirt - which was torn off after a couple of seconds - and then it was my shorts, followed by my socks. After about a minute flat, I was lying on the football pitch stark bollock naked with what felt like twenty elephants on me.

Dino De Laurentiis greeted me warmly, like a long-lost son. 'Who the hell are you and wada-you want-a?'
'This is Brian Blessed, Dino,' said Mike pleadingly. 'The chap I told you about. I want him to play Prince Vultan.'
I'm not altogether sure what Dino said next. 'Bluuuuuuurgh,' or something.

In the end, my mother and our local doctor had to sit me down and try and persuade me that I couldn't fly and that I was actually nothing more than a simple mortal. I took no notice, of course.
