Bake and Share #2 - it's cookie time!

That's not good (I mean the kids being sick). Hope they're feeling better now though. :hug:

I didn't because our car died and I didn't get a chance to go to the shops. We were without a car until yesterday. I have 'postponed' my bake & share and fully intend to do it very soon. I know my friend will definitely appreciate it :)

I think the next one should be slice - I love slices!

but i made another vanilla slice tuseday, gave a third to my mum and another third to my FIL. Ds took the rest to school for recess, should have made 2 so i got some!!

Lol, we didn't get too many bakers did we? Oh well...

I did make some cookies on our bake'n'share day, but they didn't turn out that great. So I only shared with DF. He was happy about that! ;) Unfortunately my oven only has bottom heat, so the cookies were kinda dark at the bottom and raw on top :rolleyes:. Ah well, they were still tasty.

I'm totally in for the next one!! :happydance:

I have a recipe for something called Millionaires Slice, which is caramel slice with a shortbread base. I've never made it but it sounds so yummy! I have a few recipes for slices. I'm probably gonna make Vanilla Slice.

I did actually make Lisa's bickies and was going to share them with DH (he works as a policeman in a bush community some 300kms away) but then his cholesterol came back at 8, so I sent a third to preschool for Darcy's teachers to have at their meeting, a third next door (they have 5 children and often send homemade bread over here), and a third for us.

Everyone and anyone can join! I may not be in the next one, I could be moving house!

I'll be in with the slice, when are we going to do it?

Might make cookies to catch up too ;)
