Cant help sorry I buy it already made from a coconut oil co!

I use it in cooking, smoothies and on my face.
We should absolutely meet for a coffee (or milkshake as I've ditched the coffee habit). :)
So Kelly do you have a different moisturizer to the actual cooking oil? Or does just use the oil for everything itms?
I take some out the container (buy them in litres) and scoop some out into a small container for my face and nappy cream for bub.

OI do what Kelly does also just scoop (or pour if it's warm lol) into anothe container as a moisturiser. DS was born with extremely dry skin (what happens when they go to 42weeks!) and it was great on his dry skin. My two also like to eat it off the spoon.
Yep, I just have some in a pump bottle in the bathroom for moisturiser :)
So do you only moisturise your face at night or during the day as well? I don't want to go out with super shiny oily face lol! Or maybe I'm using too much :think:
Cooked banana pikelets in it this morning and they have a lovely coconutty flavour :D
Sangie I do both but also use my moogoo over the top, take some if the shine away too, now I'll be checking you out next Tuesday fir a shiny face :lol:

do you find it too oily/gives you pimples? how do you put it in your hair? do you wash it out?
Ginger it's the only thing that doesn't give me pimples.
Sanguine I put it on then wipe my face over with a towel or something to take off the excess lol
Ginger I haven't tried it on my hair but my sister puts in on dry hair, massages her scalp, wraps in a towel and leaves it for half an hour. Then she shampoos/conditions. I've also heard of it being used overnight in hair then wash out in morning?
I've been using it on my face for around a week now and no pimples (now that I've said that I'll probably get a huge one tomorrow lol!)

Its SO SO yummy! And lower GI than normal sugar, organic and TASTES LIKE NORMAL SUGAR IN MY TEA! That was the cutting factor. I'm changed for good! YUM!!!!!!

Has anyone with coloured hair used it as a hair treatment? I'd like to try it but I've noticed that some oils (eg essential oils) can strip the colour out. Not sure if it would help lock it in like a normal treatment or send it out?
Ginger I use it in smoothies, 1 tablespoon but no more. Really whizz it up to make sure there are no bigger solidified bits! But adds a nice coconutty flavour.
I haven't but I have heard so many good things about it, just wish i knew if it applied to coloured hair. I was saying how I put it in my DDs hair to my Sri Lankan friend yesterday they use it a lot in her home country but she didn't know where to get it here so she is thrilled to use it again.:
I am making a Zucchini slice and have replced olive/macadamia/vegetable oil with coconut oil. Hoping it turns out yummy :)

Does anyone know if baked muffins/cakes/pikelets etc using coconut oil freeze ok? I assume it would be fine?? I'm having a 'stock the freezer' day!
I made piklets cooked in coconut oil last week and froze them
I am going to have to go to McAdam sq and get some, they used it in Fiji when we were there and it was yummy, I love the smell of coconut.

Sangie I love the health store and the iga lots of yummy things in both! Glad that dd and ds go to school and kinder nearby.
I got some coconut oil and have added to rice and used it in a satay sauce no complaints from anyone. Have used it on my hair after the beach too.
Coconut oil/butter and Vegemite on toast should be Australia's national food. It just tastes of Australia.
BR I just received 6 jars today from loving earth so I'm stocked up for the moment! But seeing as I'll be in the area every day for school, I'm sure I'll be popping into that health food store for other yummy things.
