Ahhh I had to give up on Vue, it was my fave restaurant till we had a run in with Shannon. Who acted like a prat when my gf complained (rightfully so) after a birthday party we held there (for me) was of very poor quality and service. Gone are the good old days of Vue in Carlton before he got a big head.
But we could do Pearl, or Nobu (which is where I've had all that from LOL) or a billion other places ;) Or we could just save up a squllion dollars and go to london and do the fat duck :p
I hope you get to have a night out... enjoy! For a culinarian (yes I made that up!) I don't know how you do it in WA (and I mean that lovingly since we literally swapped, you moved there from here and I moved here from there!)

Niliac you just listed all my fave restaurants
i hate oysters with every fibre of my being
but i had the deep fried oysters with wasabi mayo and seaweed salad at Nobu and loved it
and nearly ordered 100!

Mel - let me know when you want to cook a roast and i'll talk you through it on MSN (just no improvising - we need to make sure there is no fiasco like the cottage pie incident!)

I'd love either mexican wish heaps of sangria, or alternately some yummy indian food, at a restaurant for once!

All I would like for dinner tonight is PAFQ. I am in such a foul mood being sick and having two sick children who refuse to sleep, so I apologise.

 If I had some ear plugs I'd send them your way. I so know how that feels, and I hope you get it xxx
PAFQ: Peace and Freaking Quiet ;)

Peace and Quiet, I'm guessing....
 Netix, wish you get some PAFQ soon!
Arimeh - My husband taught me how to do roasts! I never cooked them before either!
Anything for dinner tonight? Ummm....can I please have a medium rare thick juicy sirloin steak with creamy garlic prawns and thick chips to soak up the juices and a side of green salad with basalmic dressing....yummmmmm!!
Thank goodness the calories are virtual! :D

Thank you all. It is quiet here atm, and I think I've had my dinner. A coffee. That's about all I can manage with one hand.
Over the last few days I haven't been able to wash the dishes, so now there are none clean, and having managed to do washing and drying in amongst screaming children, if I want something clean, its on a pile next to the back door. My throat hurts from yelling, and my bb's hurt from a certain little boy seemingly trying to turn himself inside out while still sucking. Please excuse my vent. Everyone else's dinner's sounded very yum, but yours Cai was a bit too fancy for me, I could never imagine having that (on the first page I think).
