most of mine is done online. mainly cause there is more variety and i can get exactly what i need. plus its easier with Spock than taking her to the shops (cause it always takes me a couple of times, i can never do it all in one big session)

I am an organiser, I always have Christmas sorted by the start of December.
This year however we are moving the first week in December so I decided that instead of moving so much extra stuff I will just wait untill after and shop then. I only have a few things for the girls and something for my dad. DH presents are on order and I know what I want for everyone so It will just be a matter of getting to the shops really early and getting it all once we have moved.
Next year I will be back to my usual organised self.
I started Christmas shopping yesterday. Dropped the kids off to my parents house and DH and I hit the shops and got all their presents as well as those for nieces and a couple of close friends kids.
I hate last minute shopping with a passion, can't stand the crowds, looking forever for a car park etc. I'm hoping to finish K.K presents in the next couple of weeks. I've done a mixture of online and in store shopping this year.
We have been adding "christmas bits" to our groceries for the past month or so and stocking it up in one section of the pantry. The meat (goose, ham and other bits) have been ordered through the butcher. Presents are started. I'm just getting together some craft bits now for DS2 and I to do when I go on leave IN TEN DAYS!!!!
I do most of my present shopping online and get it delivered to work. The other ones that I happen across in the shops I'll just pick up as I go. I usually spend the week before Christmas sorting presents and deciding who can have what and what to put away for a next birthday.
I have done all "My" shopping. Meaning I have bought all the kids presents, Andrew's presents and am putting the finishing touches to personalised calendars that the kids will give my parents, grandmother, and Andrew's mum. I have also organised teachers presents.
As for baking...... LOL !!!!!!!! I don't bake any other time so not starting just because it is Christmas. I do however have to cook the vegetables for Christmas Dinner but naturally those will be purchased a couple of days before.
The tree is going up later this year, because I just can't trust my dog to be left alone with it. She was fine last year, but the ornaments might look a bit more tastier this year. As for Christmas Cards I generally don't do them either. Ashton has written his out, so I will have to purchase some more for the other boys. I think I do have some in the roof, but if the tree isn't coming down till the day school holidays start then the cards won't come down either LOL.
About halfway there, but tbh I don't have to do a lot this year. It's more all the other organizational projects I've been working on that I hoped to get finished before the school hols started so I don't get crazy eyes.
I'm pretty set. Just have to wrap and buy chocolate, which I always do at the last minute so it doesn't melt.
We're ready! Just the food shop and cooking on Christmas Day! Weeee!
I seriously can't believe it's xmas next week! We are moving on the 20th and so although we have presents stashed at my MIL's, nothing is wrapped and I have no idea what we'll do food wise on the day. Will think about it next week
I have everything wrapped. Just need few last min things from grocery shop and done. Our local Woolies is open till midnight on Monday so might go then lol
We are so far from ready, barely any presents done, nothing planned food wise either. Honestly it's starting to stress me out not having it done but I haven't had the chance to do it, or any idea what to get.
Hmm, actually it's really feeling like Christmas here yet :/
I'm done. Last of the boys Santa sack stuff arrived today. Well actually I do have 2 other kids to buy for and I have asked their Mum a billion times what they want/need. So they'll probably just end up with money.
Andrew keeps asking me what I want, but I usually see things I want online so it isn't going to make it now anyway. So no doubt we'll cancel each other out with money again. I am one of those that hates receiving money unless I want something really expensive, because no thought goes into it.
The vegetables for Christmas day are on a saved order list at woolies online ready to submit for Christmas eve delivery.
Normally by now everything would be done but this year ds has been sick and now my girls are so I have so many things I needed to do child free but can't. I am sick too so can't even bake as it's pretty contagious :( not the Christmas I planned but we are having fun with elf on the shelf and our advent calendar.
Half way I guess. Have most of the kids bits and pieces, just a couple I forgot for DS and a lay by for DD2. DH's lay by and all the wrapping to go. Will start tonight.
One friends gift to go.
Mailing and cards all done.
Thought about luch and written a few things down.
Started a shopping list.
Bought the frozen seafood (fresh is best I know but when you live at least 1500km from any ocean it isn't always available ;))
Thought about the table
Organised a few games and stuff for the kids at Christmas lunch.
I'm almost done. DH just has to get the gift for my brother (it's car and camping related and he doesn't trust me to get the right one lol) and I've only just started making the personalised gifts to rellies from the kids. Taking lots longer than I thought, I reckon they won't be finished til some time during the weekend!
I've also realised that Santa was a bit silly and got DS a massive gift, which we now have to wrap and take with us on the big Christmas trip. I'd leave it behind but DD is telling people DS asked for an exersaucer for Christmas and won't get it if Santa leaves his gift at home. Bugger!
I've still got heaps to do!
Most of the presents are done, I still need to get a heap of gift cards, and presents for DH to give to his staff.
I need to write my shopping list for the goodie baskets I bake and put together, then I have to actually bake them lol
Didn't get around to xmas cards this year (naughty me).
I'll have to do the food shopping on Monday or Tuesday.
I seriously need to write a list of what still needs to be done, I've got so much floating around in my head I'm going to forget something for sure!
I am done!
Presents all bought (one more to arrive in the post)
Non-perishable food items all bought
Meat ordered and being cooked for me.
Bonbons etc all sorted.
Just 1/2 doz perishable items to get closer to the big day and Christmas is done.
