I'm sitting outside the salon now, on my iPhone, so I'll give you all the dirty details in about half hour when I get home. Suffice to say, I ended up just getting a G wax, but she also did my tummy below the belly button too. Painful! But not horrendous. I'll probably get this done a few more times and work my way up.

Oooh Keike, I'm so excited for you. I used to get the g-banger wax as well. I used to like a landing strip - made for light aircraft only. Just a little strip to prove my woman-hood. I had to work up to THAT! I would have liked a Brazillian, but I just couldn't get on all fours on the table. bahahahah.

Now that I live in China, I'm great friends with 'Venus' my shaver............... I can't speak Chinese well enough to ask a Chinese beautician to wax my hooha. Imagine if she ripped off the really important 'bits'. :rofl:

Okay, I'm here now!

K was lovely, she asked me if it was my first time and I said yes, so she said it would all be fine and we'd go slow. She put a basket on the bed with wipes, disposable gstring - which didn't fit :redface: - and lollipops. Apparently all first timers get a lollipop to bite down on! :o

She explained that she would need my help, basically moving the patio to get to the playground. Once I got over the indignity I was glad to have something to do, it took away the embarrassment. The wax kinda hurt, but I've always been sensitive to hot wax, it's only when it first goes on. She was very quick and professional :) I have black hairs around my belly button and down my snail trail - a little bit from PCOS, mostly from stupidly shaving it when I was 12 :doh: so she did that as well.

After investigating the damage, I'm really pleased with it! I think this is as far as I'll go, but I'll keep getting it done. I feel like a Warrior Woman :rofl:
