This is my take on the whole make up thing - I hate the fact that women are expected to paint themselves pretty. Men aren't held to the same standards. It isn't a message that I want to send to my children, that they have to put on a mask because how they are isn't good enough.
Anyhow, off my little soapbox.
I probably could do with some make up tbh - I have far too many wrinkles for someone not yet 30, bags under my eyes from 4 years of crap sleep and I still have a mask of pregnancy that doesn't seem to be shifting. But in my little reality how people look on the outside shouldn't matter - if people want to know me then they will accept me wrinkles and all.
