Low Rise Jeans **free vent incl. at no charge**

Oh, I hate the low-rise, too.
And to be honest, I often see people wearing them and think "what were they thinking?"
It is NOT sexy when half your buttcrack shows. No matter how hot your bod.
I also used to love men's 501's. Although they'd probably be seen as harry high-pants now, too.
I also don't like the full-on high rise (like in the 80s). Just a normal in-between rise that you can move around in, bend over, crouch down, and sit down, without tempting someone to deposit their spare change between you rear cheeks.
And yes, I loooove flares. I don't even know if they still suit me (they used to, but I was a lot slimmer then). But I don't even really care. I just love them.

I wear Mens 501s, well I will be wearing them again shortly when I've lost the rest of this weight.

There is an amazing 2nd hand store just near Covent Garden (London) that I get all my men's jeans from. I love the jeans they have in there.

I am looking forward to investigating and finding all the wicked 2nd hand stores like this (if they exist) when I get to Melbourne!

Sad sight yesterday at docklands.....high rise denim shorts cuts off way too high at the leg. Oh bad look.

i hate that look! its so stupid! i dont mind short shorts BUT when the leg part looks shorter then the waist, it looks really strange!

as for jeans i was a hipster, flair girl. but the only good flair pair i bought was in 2000 and i stoped fitting inot them in '06! (plus they where almost thred bear in places!) but now as long as they're not strait leg i dont mind but high waisted looks strange on me as i have a longer body and short legs so i look like i'm standing in front of a crazy mirror in them :lol: . but i have found kmart make some good jeans that have a fair bit of give in them and they also make longer tank tops to help stop plumbers crack!

Target's Hot Options Tank Tops are nice and long, too. I'm so glad that they make mid rise jeans and longer tops these days. The low jeans + short top combo was really getting to me. And constantly pulling down your top or pulling up your pants is not a good look either.

My jeans are low rise mainly coz they're too HUGE for me and while I'm still losing weight and toning I'm not going to bother buying another pair, so if I don't wear a belt they fall off my hips. In saying that I've got a few pairs of smaller sizes in my cupboard that I found while packing the other night - I'm almost into one of those pairs. They're mid-waisted.

Oh i can't find ANY jean to fit my weird body... everything is a compromise :wall: I resisted low rise for years... hate the builder's cleavage look.... but bought a few pairs at Savers... Levis. they are ok... the thigh area is too tight though... that's the thing with low rise: it's always coupled with having tight thighs. My body has a womanly (big) butt, narrow waist, womanly thighs. No jeans fit this... waisted jeans always have a gaping area of fabric near my lower back. Low rise feel uncomfy because it's too tight around my upper thigh. Might have to check out ezi buy and Maya's site....
