TaffyLou my DH is exactly the same... 3 years ago he started insisting he could only wear French cuff shirts which require cuff-links... talk about accessorising! what with links and ties and belts and now he needs a new satchel and is saying Country Road MIGHT be ok! geeeze... I thought it all a bit of a joke and he was exaggerating but at the races last year (a work event) his boss sauntered over and turned over his tie saying "very nice". !!! I guess you gotta play the game... (secretly I do like him in his suit, so I don't reeeeally mind ;) )

I love this thread!
Before kids I would spend a fortune on clothes (and my hair, nails etc). I have a white linen short skirt that I paid 75 pounds for about 8 years ago which is waaay to short for me to wear now! I also have a Versace dress that I bought for my Mums wedding which i'm thinking of selling on Ebay.
Now I can't justify spending anything over $100 for an item (except shoes). The most expensive thing I bought recently was my ghd straighteners which I don't know how I lived without and they were 104 pounds and worth EVERY PENNY!!!!
Bath and Taffy - my DH is the same and he has to wear french cuffed shirts but I must admit it looks great and it's always easy to buy him Xmas pressies - cufflinks, ties etc!
