Was reading about this tonight and I think you can't do much with genetics but can feed your skin internally with lots of water daily, eat oily fish regularly, exercise and eat healthy foods. I'm a shocker with water but do fins it makes a huge difference as well as when I'm eating well and getting fresh air.
I use organic but relatively cheap moisturiser with bio oil mixed in and spf30 now that spring is here again.

I think on the whole skin care products are a waste of time. I think you can do a lot for your skin and aging through diet though- you don't have to just give up :)
Sometimes I like a nice moisturiser but I use coconut oil things and none of the fancy skin care product brands.
As for sunscreen we avoid it as much as possible. We like to get plenty of vitamin D so we mostly just wear hats and stay in the shade if it's really bright. When we really need to prevent burning we use badger sunscreen as it's non-nano zinc and doesn't have any chemicals in it. I'd rather not give myself one cancer in the hopes of preventing another!

Suncream is the only product I truly believe in.
My mum has had amazing benefits from a skin whitening cream to help with her age spots. It actually makes me uncomfortable she endorses and uses it. I think I'd rather prevent the sun damage in the first place.
