Well I've brushed my hair! Every little bit helps right? ;) and put on some make up & a nice outfit... All ready for....
A playdate! Yay me.
Oh and out yesterday wearing one of my newly created outfits (new pants & re-found top from back of my wardrobe) & met a neighbor who told me I was looking fantastic & awesome :D
Goal for this week, take the old maternity clothes out of my wardrobe!

Ohh i got a compliment yesterday although i think it's part of her job.. went to contours to have a look around.. . she said in no way did i look 'obese' and i should have more confidence in myself

Good work girls!
Keep it up :-)

I dyed my hair, have straightened it daily. Went out to the theatre on Sunday night and was able to get super dressed up - and had the bonus of leaving DH and DD at home, was a nice rare treat for me. Although I'm paying for it with the blisters on my toes  Rotten boots!!!!

Such a lovely thread! ZF, I use a really great tinted SPF moisturizer from the body shop, it comes in a pink tube. It has lasted over a year and was about 30 dollars, you only need a tiny bit, it can be a bit heavy if you use too much.
-
I found some Benefit benetint pocket gloss on eBay and just waiting for it to arrive! Can't wait- I think Cai recommended it on the make up thread but am sure it's going to make me feel like a glam mummy!!!

Ha! *struts smugly*
So Mr "I-don't-care-what-you-wear" has just admitted that he's noticed what i'm wearing (ok so maybe not THAT specific) but that I'm dressed nicer and he said... um yes, you look cuter and i love you more. LOL!
I am SO using that as ammunition when I go clothes shopping and spend vast wads of money!
Today - boots (my feet are in shock that they're not in runners!), jeans, new tops, make-up, earrings, just got a fringe trim & booked in a colour for next week. HAWT!
Oh and new undies, bonds on special at Safeway :D

Hey ladies how are we all going?? Havent fallen off the wagon I hope.
I have had a few days where I think "aarrrggghh I cant be arsed with this!" but then I check myself, tell myself off and take that extra five minutes. I always feel better for it so I really should just stop fighting myself.
I have to say the legs are looking relatively not bad if I say so myself  and I have even got them out on a couple of occasions. (Nothing serious - just long shorts as opposed to jeans :p) The weather is really starting to warm up here so its that reminder that the hide behind winter wardrobe will soon be redundant. :o
I am working on my posture this week. Shoulders back, tummy in and walk with purpose instead of just getting from A to B.
Hope you are all still taking that time for yourselves and you are feeling better for it. Have a great Tuesday

Finally got around to painting my toenails.

I bought myself new knickers yesterday :D
Three everyday boy style (sooo comfy) and three sexy silky g's (for days when I want to feel sexy and confident :D)
My old knickers (which ha gone through my last three pregnancies) all went in the bin!!
Next on the list is new bras.

Fallen off here although I am still lurvin' my Benetint - amazing stuff, the other day I put it on my cheeks in the morning - went to church, had a nap, woke up... Still there! Woot!
I have a sore eye so no make up here and no contacts which always makes me feel a bit blah so am looking forward to it getting better.
FM - I am so jealous - 14 here today and I doubt it has hit 14 with rain. I love Melbs but winter sucks.
-

How are all the MILFS going?!?! I have been slack but just did my eyebrows the other day and there are a few blogs on FB that I follow that have been doing weekly dares, like wearing red lippy all day every day for one whole week, another one was wearing something on your head every day for a week (pretty flower/clip/hat - ponytail doesn't count!)
I have a red lippy on the way in the mail and am writing a list of my spring/summer must have clothing for a shopping spree in a few weeks - (not that it feels Springy in Melbs :roll eyes:)
Anyway just wanted to pop in and tell you girls that you are all gorgeous and beautiful and ask what have you been doing for YOU lately?????

i feel like this was written about me! i loaded this page then walked off to get dressed (my old pregnancy trackies and what ever jumper i could muster up) then chucked my hair into its usual messy bun came back to read the posts and am now about to go and find some jeans and scarf maybe even some earrings :) THANKYOU

I love that idea Tanstar! I always love the look of red lippy and think it is seriously sexy but have never had the guts to wear it myself. I am a chapstick or clear gloss girl generally but I am going to buy a red lippy damm it, and wear it. Might have to start around the house first to build up my confidence but im ok with that. Thanks for the awesome idea. Whats the FB groups?
Have overall been pretty good and it has made a big difference to how I feel in general. I am more motivated and have more get up and go if I spend that little bit more time on myself. The days I dont I am lucky to make it off the couch sometimes and everything feels too hard. So it really is worth taking that time for me.
I have been pushing out my comfort zone a bit and am trying on clothes that normally I would walk straight past. I have decided I like Ninas style (from Offspring) and it is a good casual but dressy look that I can copy.
I am really going the whole hog this weekend as I am going away for a girls weekend away. No husbands no kids just two whole nights to think of no one but ME!! Very foreign to me but im sure I will struggle through :p
I hope you havent fallen off the wagon and you are managing to find that 5 extra minutes for you. YOU DESERVE IT :heartbeat:

I have been a bit slack lately however, I have a wedding this weekend and was on the phone to Mum before "complaining" about my busy morning... So it went something like this "Ugh, it's nice to sit down after a crazy morning. I had to go into town to buy lipgloss, sunglasses, a clutch, jewellery and I struggled getting around with the pram because I'm sore from bootcamp last night. I had to race home to get my spray tan done, what a morning!". My Mum burst out laughing and goes "Yeah, real tough morning buying your lipgloss, new sunnies etc" and then proceeded to laugh harder! I realized how it sounded once she pointed it out! So I think this week I have succeeded!
