Apple Bottoms is actually a brand of jeans, the company is owned by Nelly (the rapper)

I found a really nice pair of country road jeans. They are dark denim, have a tiny bit of stretch, and fit really well. they were on the sale rack too for $50. Their size 12 seems to be the equivalent of a size 14, so their 14 would be a 14 - 16.
Also, thanks to a puersuasive sales assistant, I tried on a pair of Saba jeans the other day. They were really nice actually. Really flattering, nice cut, dark denim, and they had size 14. I can be a size 14 - 16 too with a bit of a tum nowdays and both these brands fit well.
You could try DFO too, at the airport.
I love Ksubi, sass and bide and lee
just because they suck me in and make my legs look skinnier
I've been wearing JayJay's jeans for years because they're cheap, cut very long in the leg (which I need, I cannot stand jeans that hike up and show my ankles when I sit down, I don't mind at all if they drag on the ground lol), and they do 'in-between' sizes (9, 11 etc instead of just 8, 10, 12, 14 etc)...
My one gripe with them at the moment, which is forcing me out of my comfort zone in search of a different brand, is that they are slightly too low-waisted (I have that little muffin-top and need an extra inch or two in the waistband to cover it up), and that the majority of their bootcut styles (I'm a bit too thick in the torso to get away with skinny jeans, I have very slim legs/hips and bum but no waist and broad shoulders so need the flare in the legs to balance me out or I look ridiculously top-heavy) are a stretch denim rather than that really 'hard' denim with zero give.
Sorry to hijack, Sue, but any recommendations would be most welcome!! :) I hope you've found a good pair to suit you!
I ended up getting a pair of regatta jeans, but have since lost 4kgs, so that was a wasted exercise and a waste of money LOL... am happy with my loss though cause I'm down to a size 14 .
I dug out a pair of jeans I have only worn once from Sussan's, and they fit like a glove. Am just waiting to at least get to a size 12 to go and buy another pair.
i bought 2 pairs of espirt jeans from the outlet in paddys market when i was on holiday in sydney , but i lost weight too and now they are waaay too big and not even worth getting tailored , i bougght them in a 12 maybe .. and now im a 9 , jeans always stretch so its worth downsizing or going down half a size , i used to work in jeanswest , and i always told that to customers , and the ones that didnt listen always came back to complain as the jeans got too baggy after a few wears ...
but i hate it when jeans are to low , i have big hip and am forever hiking my jeans over my hips as the ride down all the time ..
agh jeans shopping sux , but glad you lost the weight and feel good in some jeans :)
I 100% agree that jeans shopping sux Lea... everytime I do it, the air conditioning in the change room seems to be on boiling point which makes it harder and I just get flustered and give up.
I reckon life would be so much easier if we could punch in our measurements and a computer could just spit out the best pair of jeans for us LOL.
