Im another SJP-Lovely fan too.

I don't have "for special occasion" perfume - I wear my chanel every day - even when I'm working on the car, DH loves the smell of chanel no 5 & oil - which was my smell of choice today (we were working on the car)

My faves are Angel and Angel innocent... DH wears A*men to match.
I love Eternity and have been wearing this since I was 18.
I also love Joop!
My most favourite scent that DH wears is Body Kouros... omg, it smells so sexy on him!!!

I can never go past Samsara, just love it :)

I'm a Dior girl, I love J'Adore and Addict. And I love Ralph Lauren Blue but it has been discontinued :cry:...that was always my summertime fragrance. I wear Addict in winter and J'Adore all year round (plus I wore it on my wedding day and it always takes me back to that day). I always get compliments when I wear Addict (and DH loves it ;)).

But since DS was born I can't bring myself to wear them...they are all collecting dust!

My tops are:

1. Burberry (doesnt have a name, think it's just the original eau de parfum)
2. Philosophy's "Amazing Grace" (Philospohy is an American brand I think , available at limited shops, but have yummy scents- lots of fun bath stuff too like cinnamon buns, hot cocoa, strawberry margartia, gingerbread man, candy cane etc)

I used to wear Ralph Lauren's "Romance" but wore it while very morning sick in pregnancy and to this day I feel ill immediately if I catch a whiff of it, crazy :)

My every day scents are:
body shop white musk or vanilla oil
or clinique sunflowers this was the first actual perfume I ever got and I love it. People say it reminds them of me.

Special occaision ones are:
L'eu D'Issey by Issey Miyakey
Miracle (can't think od who makes it...) this is my absolute FAVOURITE!!
one made by versace can't think of the name...

When my DH wears Tommy by Tommy Hilfigure (sp) I go back to our early days when we met. Another scent that brings back memories is my mums favourite, Anais Anais by Cacherel, it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy!

Bummer :( I love Blue - I got a sample bottle of it when I bought a bottle of Romance once, and it's just gorgeous.

Perfume companies should do what Villeroy & Boch (crockery etc) do: allow you to register your favourite fragrance and if they decide to discontinue it then they will notify you...giving you enough warning to purchase another bottle or two. This is especially important if the fragrance is the one you wore at your wedding. If they discontinued Shalimar (I think it's been around sice about 1940!) I'd certainly buy up big! They say you should use perfumes within 6 months of opening... but who does that?

I have only ever liked one perfume in my life and that is Yvresse by YSL. It reminds me of DH's and my first trip overseas ....

For a more playful scent, I like Body Shop's Fuzzy Peach. It reminds me of my days at Uni. It really gets DH going too as our Uni days were when we fell in love .......... ooooh, brings back the memories.

My all time fav, but it is a winter one - Christian Dior - Hypnotic Poision! They also do a summer one, Pure - I have smelt this one and when my perfumes run out want to get that one next....

All in all, I have a few bottles at the moment - I keep them in the fridge so they last 'longer'.

I have Brittney's Fantasy - but so sick of it....

Ohhh perfume. Mmm. I don't really wear it on my throat anymore, I'll spray it on the back of my neck and wrists.

In Black - J Del Pozo (have, dh bought it for me without me smelling it and what a winner, I love it) Oriental
Dream II - Le Reve (have, it's in a gel form, and lighter for queasy days) Floral
Pleasures Intense - Estee Lauder (gone, but first perfume dh bought me, I still love it)
Be Delicious - DKNY (don't have, I spray some every time I'm in Myer! The reason I'm trying to use up my other perfumes)

As for using perfumes soon after opening, it's pretty important, my aim is to eventually only have one perfume at a time. My Pleasures Intense smelled pretty different by the end, as opposed to when I first smelled it! And you're supposed to keep them in a dark place. I'd never heard of keeping them in the fridge though!

I love perfumes but so many give me headaches if i wear them to often!!!

I love vanilla oil too. Body Shop stopped making the original one a while back.

I only ever had 1 perfume on the go at a time. At present it's 5th Avenue by Elizabeth Arden (i think!) because my husband just gave it to me for our 5 year wedding anniversary (awwww) : )

Before this one, I was really into rose - just straight rose - in all my shower gels, body creams and then I used Tudor Rose perfume from Crabb Tree and Evelyn.

I have not been feeling naseous at all from my favourite perfumes. So hopefully that's nature's way of telling me it's ok to wear them!
I love Yvresse by Yves Sain Laurent, Byzance by Rochas, Prada, and sometimes I wear the Thierry Mulger aftershave called Amen.
My fave fragrance of all time is Feminite Du Bois by Shisedo. But they have stopped making it so I hardly ever wear it in case I completely run out. I love it so much.

XBF bought me DKNY which I loved but now can't wear it because it reminds me of him and heartbreak :(

Currently wearing Vera Wang and have also worn a Stella McCartney and Lancome Miracle.
